THEME:
Your Tongue And You. IV.
MEMORY VERSE:
“Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.”
James 3:13.
TODAY’S TEXT:
James 3:9-10.
“Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.”
TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we saw that taming the tongue is a great task, it is one of the exercises that requires discipline and divine support or grace from above. And that the tongue is capable of setting the whole body on the hell fire.
Meanwhile, James further explained that, the same tongue we use to appreciate God, should not be use to depreciate our fellow men, and not to forget that they are God’s little photocopies.
More so, as genuine children of God, our spring’s product must be blessings only and not with curse, for such things ought not so to be.
Furthermore, our memory verse reveals that, a wise man who is filled with knowledge, is known by his speech. His conversation is seasoned with grace and blessings.
In conclusion, the scripture says in Luke 6:45, *”A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”* Beloved, with Christ Jesus in your life, you too can produce good fruits; of blessings and grace. Embrace Jesus fully today and you will be glad you did.
God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.
