THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

DATE:
Saturday, December 28, 2019.

THEME:
When You Die, Will They Be Right. I

MEMORY VERSE:
“For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.”
Ezekiel 18:32.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Psalms 23:4.
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Many years ago, while growing up in the village, I observed that when someone dies, the villagers will spread the news of how the person died, such as the posture, facial expressions, manner of death and so on, with that we get to know how an individual died, even when you are not present at the time of death.
Meanwhile, when an aged person died, the concern is mostly about the facial expressions of the dying person, such as smiling or frowning. And when he or she died smiling, the people will conclude that the person is a good person and that he or she is going to heaven.
Well, the truth be told that such smile, may not be because of heaven’s case been settled, but that of earthly happiness of having the friends and family around at the time of death.
Furthermore, well beloved of God, do know that heaven awaits only the saints and not those who smile, dance or sings while dying.
In conclusion, the scripture says, *”Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”*(Hebrews 12:14). Holiness is the only key, that open the gate of heaven. And without holiness, if one dies singing, dancing or smiling, such a fellow cannot make it to heaven. May you not miss heaven in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will die at my post, putting on God’s whole armour strong.

PRAYER POINT:
Father Lord, you know the ending from the beginning. Oh Lord! Please help me to live and die in holiness, that I may enter into my eternal joy in heaven in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
