MEMORY VERSE:
“Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.”
Psalms 91:8.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Psalms 58:11
“So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we discussed the Christian God as a consuming fire. One you must not joke with or take His word for granted. Who is full of fire that consumed anything standing in its way and simply destroy God’s enemies.
Meanwhile, Jesus says, *”And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”* (Revelation 22:12) Today, another attribute of God that is before us says, He is a Rewarder. And the question is, what is the nature of your work before God? Be it good or bad, there is a reward attached to every man activities.
Furthermore, dear friend, the word of God declared that, *”…for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.* (Galatians 6:7) The truth remain that, God will not owe anyone, whatever a man sow, that will he receive in return. And that whatever your work produces that shall you receive in abundance. So, beloved in Christ, today, check your work and activities and do the needful before the day of reckoning.
In conclusion, the scripture presents us with God’s mind saying, *”Owe no man anything…”* (Romans 13:8) This implies that God will not owe anyone, no matter how big or small the reward may seem. In the same vein, God expected you and me to fulfil all our promises. For God will not fail to reimburse you accordingly. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I receive grace, to do good. I will not miss my reward.

PRAYER POINT:
Father in Heaven, give me the grace, to do good always. Oh Lord, help me to focus on doing good in righteousness at all time. And in your mercy, may I not miss my reward at last in Jesus name. Amen.

THEME:
The Christian God: The Consuming Fire.

MEMORY VERSE:
“For our God is a consuming fire.”
Hebrews 12:29.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Deuteronomy 9:3.
“Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we discussed the Christian God as the Omnipresent One. One who is present everywhere at the same time with His full authority, power, glory and many more. For His children; the Christians, He is the instant help in the time of trouble. (Psalms 46:1)
Meanwhile, today, we are looking at another trait of God, as a consuming fire. One you must not joke with or take for granted, one whose word is His bond. He proved Himself when Elijah; the prophet ask the fire to come down, and the fire destroyed the soldiers sent to arrest him. (2 Kings 1: 9-12)
More so, the God of Elijah is still the same today, surrounding His children with fire, thereby making them inaccessible to the enemy. And destroying their destroyers. Beloved, may you never run out of God’s coverage in Jesus name. Amen.
In conclusion, how do you relate to God? As God’s friend or enemy? I beg of you, be His friend today, that you may benefit from His fire and not be consumed by His fire. God hates unrighteousness, flee all appearances of evil and desist from sin. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I am a friend of God. I will not be destroyed, I will keep abiding under the protection of God.

PRAYER POINT:
Father Lord, please give me the grace to abide forever under Your care and guide. Help me Lord, not to take You for granted and keep surrounding me with fire as wall surrounds Jerusalem in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
The Narrow Way Team.

“For the LORD thy God is a merciful God; he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.”

Beloved, to be merciful is to forgive and unwilling to punish for injury caused. While, our today’s text highlights that our God, *”…will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers.”* This implies that whatever happens God will not abandon you.
Nevertheless, our memory verse revealed that God is, _”slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.”_ God gives time for you and me to repent, He is not hasty in His judgement. God allows us a lot of time to return to him and when we do, He takes us in, like the Father of the prodigal son. (Luke 15: 22-24)
Meanwhile, He says in Ezekiel 18:32, *”…For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies, says the Lord GOD: wherefore repent, and live.”* Do know that no matter how big is your atrocities, all that God require from you is repentance. Come back to God today, he awaits your return.
In conclusion, another scripture declared thus, _”…rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.”_ (Joel 2:13) Dear friend, today when you approach God, humble yourself, be sober, be not with the haughty spirit, plead for mercy and you will be forgiven and redeemed. Shalom!

TODAY’S TEXT:
Ecclesiastes 8:17
“Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man thinks to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.”

Meanwhile, our today’s text declaration of God’s wisdom and knowledge is beyond comprehension. And that nothing takes God by surprise. This implies that God’s knowledge is total. He knows all that there is to know and all that can be known and nothing is hidden before Him.
In conclusion, our memory verse, capped it by saying, *”…the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.”* The truth is that God knows you, more than you know or anyone knows about you. Come to Jesus today, He will perfect all that concerns you. Shalom!
