Divine Help: The Contented.
“Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.”
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
Apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians saying that, *”I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.”* Invariably, in Paul’s wants, he had learnt to be happy with whatever comes his way and whichever state of mind, health and status, he was okay and happy, in order not to burden, his host during his Missionaries expedition in Philippi.
More so, the writer of the book of Hebrews, also admonish us that, we should be weary of covetousness, rather be happy with such things you have. Having men and women with such disposition in your business, ministry or family, will be a plus to your establishment.
Furthermore, contented divine helps, do comprises of associates, followers, family or relatives. These ones are not greedy, they are satisfied with whatever they get from you and they bless you from their hearts for it.
Finally, 1 Timothy 6:6 reminds us that, *”…godliness with contentment is great gain.”* May you be surrounded with contented men and women, who will support you to achieve greatness and who will not drain you in Jesus name. Amen.
God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
I will be contented with whatever I have.
Father, give me a heart that is free of covetousness. And please Lord, surround me with men and women, who will support me to achieve greatness in Jesus name. Amen.
Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
