THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST
DATE: Thursday, September 12, 2019.
THEME: Victory In Christ Jesus.
MEMORY VERSE:
“But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 15:57.
TODAY’S TEXT:
1 Corinthians 15:54-56.
“So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.”
TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Death is the final part or end of something. The non activeness of life and all living processes; the end of an organism’s existence as an entity independent from its environment and its return to an inert, nonliving state. Death can also said to be the life’s time keeper or the agent of hell, who sends souls out of the world to the grave.
More so, the scripture says; “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” (Hebrews 9:27) The question is, after death what kind of judgement awaits you or me? The judgement of the saints or that of the wicked? Will my work on earth stand the heavenly test of fire? (1 Corinthians 3:15)
Meanwhile, as believers, we will triumph over grave and death. For we shall be bold as Lion, knocking down the power of the enemies (Satan, demons, grave and death) in Victory.
However, do know that sin is capable of robbing you of this victory. And we must ensure that, on daily basis, we do our best to remain in Victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Conclusively, well beloved of God, victory is sweet and everlasting, as long as we remain faithful and holy. Our today’s text reveals the blessings through fellowship and the knowledge of God’s grace available for us in Christ Jesus. May you remain victorious in Christ Jesus. Amen.
DAIILY CONFESSION:
Victory is mine. I am victorious now and always.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, thank you for giving me Victory in Christ Jesus. O Lord, may I not loose my Victory in Christ Jesus in Jesus name. Amen.
Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
