When You Pray For Mercy. IV.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.”
Psalms 27:7.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Mark 10:47-49.
“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we saw a Christian praying for mercy, is simply asking for restoration and pardon for wrongdoings. Knowing well that, we have a father in heaven, who is full of compassion and mercy.
However, today text revealed the extent to which mercy can travel or the height of respect heaven has for mercy. It is evident that when you ask or pray for mercy, just like Bartimaeus with a pure heart, do know that speedy help will surface from God’s Thorne and you will rejoice in your Maker.
Nevertheless, when you pray for mercy, you call for the special needs and quick attention of God to your matter. Your cry for mercy makes Heaven standstill. Don’t forget that mercy prevailed over judgement.
In summary, do you want to command Heaven to a standstill and to hearken to your voice instantly? Today, do call for God’s mercy. For Jesus says, _” I say unto you, that likewise, joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repents…”_ (Luke 15:7) May God’s mercy continue to prevail in your life in Jesus name. Amen. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for His mercy endureth forever.” (1 Chronicles 16:34)

PRAYER POINT:
Merciful Father and God all grace, to You alone belong all authority. Please Lord, let Your mercy, continue to prevail over judgements against my life in Jesus name. Amen.

Psalms 86:5.
“For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.”

TODAY’S TEXT:
Luke 15:17-18.
“And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we brought to the limelight the first stage towards receiving mercy. The question is, what do I have to do before praying for mercy? Beloved, the first thing is to forgive others their offences against you and you will receive mercy also. (Matthew 6:12)
Nevertheless, today we will consider the expected results of praying for mercy or while we need mercy. Why do I pray for mercy? When you pray for mercy, you are simply asking for pardon and restoration.
However, our today’s text speaks of the importance of self-realization, the need for a change in status and a better relationship with our heavenly Father. For mercy give birth to restoration.
In summation, it is good to recant what the scriptures say about our Eternal Father, *” For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.”* What a great privilege, call on God today and He will restore you through His infinite mercy. Shalom!

More so, when we pray for mercy, we must be ever ready to forgive others. Mercy is a two-way currency, once given out, it comes back to you. It cannot be lost in transition, it must surely locate its owner.

“Pardon, I beseech thee, the iniquity of this people according to unto the greatness of thy mercy, and as thou hast forgiven these people, from Egypt even until now.”
Numbers 14:19.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Deuteronomy 13:17.
“And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In this first part, we will be looking at what mercy is all about. Let us not forget that, as Christians, we were taught and nourished with the word of God, for our elevation and spiritual growth. Nevertheless, Mercy or to be merciful is one of the Christian virtue a child of God Must display at all times.
Meanwhile, Mercy is that benevolence, mildness or tenderness of heart that disposes a person to overlook injuries or to treat an offender better than he deserves. And the scriptures say, *”Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”* (Matthew 5:7) When you show mercy, you will receive mercy in return.
Furthermore, Mercy is a distinguishing attribute of the Most High God, and as Gods children, to be merciful is innate. “The Lord is long-suffering and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty…” (Numbers 14:18)
In conclusion, when we pray for mercy, we are asking for compassion, for reconsideration and restoration. As you ask God for mercy today, may He be merciful unto you in Jesus name. Amen. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.

Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Through the Lord’s mercy, I receive mercy, compassion and restoration.

“For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which can save your souls.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
When we say the wrath of man, what is the benefits or the consequences of it? Well, wrath is referred to as violent anger, a vehement exasperation of indignation. The effects of anger and some call it, the just punishment of an offence or crime.
However, what do the scriptures say about the wrath of man? *”For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.”* This implies that you cannot achieve God’s righteousness through wrath.
Meanwhile, we are encouraged to lay aside all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness. We must get rid of all that makes us appear dirty before God, our immoderate lifestyle, our malice and wickedness. All are engineered by wrath against man or God.
