THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

DATE:
Thursday, July 29, 2021.

THEME:
When You Pray For Mercy. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.”
Psalms 85:7.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Matthew 6:12.
“And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the opening of this series, we considered what Mercy is, the importance of asking for mercy. So, mercy is simply asking for pardon or giving pardon to others as the case may be.
Meanwhile, today we want to remind ourselves, the first thing towards praying for mercy. As our today text states, we must put in mind, this scripture daily, *”And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”* (Matthew 6:12)
More so, when we pray for mercy, we must be ever ready to forgive others. Mercy is a two-way currency, once given out, it comes back to you. It cannot be lost in transition, it must surely locate its owner.
In conclusion, when you pray for mercy, you are simply asking for the harvest of the mercy sown. Don’t forget, the measure you sow, you will receive in return. Be merciful to others and you will receive mercy from God. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will show mercy, that I too may receive mercy from God.

PRAYER POINT:
Merciful Father, through Your grace, help me to be merciful as You are and in Your mercy, have mercy on me, whenever I sinned against you in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
The Narrow Way Team.
