THEME:
The Power Of Obedience. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.”
Hebrews 5:8.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Hebrews 5:9-10.
“And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God a high priest after the order of Melchisedec.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The opening of this series opined the fact that obedience has the power to strengthen trust and confidence in the capacity of the followers. When a man obeys sin, he will die, but if he or she submitted to righteousness, he will not die but live. Dear friend, who you obey has the power to rule you.
Meanwhile, many will say obedience is a choice, but let us not forget that in making such choices, we must consider the outcome of such decisions. And to whom you submit, you will observe his bidding. Obedience brings about promotion, through obedience Jesus was called to the office of a high priest. (Hebrew 5:10)
Also, our today’s text affirmed that as Christians, obedience to God’s word and instructions brings about perfection and fulfilment of destiny and ordination in Christ Jesus.
In conclusion, to constitute obedience, the act or forbearance to act must be in submission to authority the command must be known to the person, and his compliance must be in consequence of it. Let it be to promotion and perfection of glory. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will not disobey God’s order for my life. I will keep trusting in God’s word.

PRAYER POINT:
Father Lord, help me to focus on obeying your word at all times. That I may be made perfect, promoted and fulfil my destiny and ordination in life in Jesus name. Amen.

The Power Of Obedience. I.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

THEME:
The Power Of Obedience. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also does more than I say.”
Philemon 1:21.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Romans 6:16
“Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death or obedience unto righteousness?”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Obedience is compliance with a command, prohibition or known law and rule of duty prescribed, the performance of what is required or enjoined by authority, or the abstaining from what is prohibited, in compliance with the command or prohibition.
Meanwhile, obedience has the power to strengthen trust and confidence in the capacity of the followers. Beloved, to whom do you submit? Is it to Sin or Righteousness? Do know that yielding to sin leads to destruction and obedience to God’s Word gives you eternal life.
Additionally, obedience is a sign of wisdom and doing otherwise is foolishness. Are you wise? Don’t forget, obedience is simply a proper submission to authority. That which duty requires implies dignity of conduct rather than servility.
In conclusion, obedience may be voluntary or involuntary. It is important to state that voluntary obedience alone can be acceptable to God. Voluntarily obey God today and you will appreciate the abundance of His promises for your life. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will voluntarily obey God’s Word. I will not be God’s enemy.

PRAYER POINT:
Father in Heaven, You are the good God. Help me Lord to obey You in all things. And give me the grace to enjoy the blessings of Your promises for my life in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
The Narrow Way Team.

Exclusive Worship. II.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

THEME:
Exclusive Worship. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”
Exodus 34:14.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Deuteronomy 8:19.
“And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the previous part of this message, we saw worship as an act of adoration to God, a way of giving God supreme respect and veneration. Therefore, exclusive worship is a shower of genuine devotion and reverence to God alone.
However, it is important to note that, it is our solemn responsibility to bring all glorification to our Maker. And failure to do this is dangerous. For in the days of trouble, it is only the living God, that can save and deliver. And when you don’t belong to Him, you are in jeopardy.
More so, in our today’s passage, God plays back the penalty for those that worship Him not saying, _”I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.”_ For a man or woman, who worship other gods, is not far from destruction. To avoid devastation, give God all the adoration due to him.
In conclusion, our memory verse reiterates another reason, we must respect God, *”For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”* Beloved, in worship, be God’s ally and not His foe. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I am for God and not against God.

PRAYER POINT:
Almighty Father, You alone deserve my total worship. And by Your grace, I receive grace to remain God’s friend always. And no matter what, help me Lord, not to worship other gods, in Jesus name. Amen

Yours in Christ,
The Narrow Way Team.
