The Power Of Obedience. II.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

DATE:
Thursday, June 10, 2021.

THEME:
The Power Of Obedience. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.”
Hebrews 5:8.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Hebrews 5:9-10.
“And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God a high priest after the order of Melchisedec.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The opening of this series opined the fact that obedience has the power to strengthen trust and confidence in the capacity of the followers. When a man obeys sin, he will die, but if he or she submitted to righteousness, he will not die but live. Dear friend, who you obey has the power to rule you.
Meanwhile, many will say obedience is a choice, but let us not forget that in making such choices, we must consider the outcome of such decisions. And to whom you submit, you will observe his bidding. Obedience brings about promotion, through obedience Jesus was called to the office of a high priest. (Hebrew 5:10)
Also, our today’s text affirmed that as Christians, obedience to God’s word and instructions brings about perfection and fulfilment of destiny and ordination in Christ Jesus.
In conclusion, to constitute obedience, the act or forbearance to act must be in submission to authority the command must be known to the person, and his compliance must be in consequence of it. Let it be to promotion and perfection of glory. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will not disobey God’s order for my life. I will keep trusting in God’s word.

PRAYER POINT:
Father Lord, help me to focus on obeying your word at all times. That I may be made perfect, promoted and fulfil my destiny and ordination in life in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
The Narrow Way Team.
