The Haunted Ones. II.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST.

DATE: Friday, April 12, 2019.

THEME: The Haunted Ones. II.

MEMORY VERSE: “Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
Psalms 105:15.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Job 1:8-10.
“And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The opening of this series, exposed us to fact that Christians all over the world, are haunted day and night by our archenemy, who steal, kill and destroy.
In the same vein, our today’s text present us with one of the copious examples of Satan’s mission against believers. God testified of Job’s faithfulness and commitment to righteousness, but Satan think otherwise, he protested that the reason, why Job fear God, is because of God’s goodness to him. He asked God to leave Job for him to haunt.
However, Job 1:11, further detailed their conversation, it says; “But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.” He suggested that God should remove his hands from Job’s life and that Job will curse God. Allthough, Job lost everything he had, even his wife ask him to curse God. Hallelujah! Job did not curse God. If I may ask, If you are in Job’s shoe, will you curse God? God forbid.
Furthermore, as long as you start walking in righteousness, be ready for Satan’s hunting and severe attack from every corner, as a target.
Conclusively, our memory verse, brings to us what the word of God, says concerning you to your enemies: “Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” Though, the enemies may haunt, but they are not permitted to harm you. May you continue to enjoy the divine providence in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
By divine providence, no harm will come my way.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, your word change not, it fulfills what you sent it for. Oh Lord, let me not loose, the potency of your word over my life. And may I be free from all harms in Jesus name. Amen.

The Haunted Ones. I.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST.

DATE: Thursday, April 11, 2019.

THEME: The Haunted Ones. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.”
2 Corinthians 4:9.

TODAY’S TEXT:
1 Peter 5:8-9.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The dark and sinful nature of this world, makes this world uneasy to live for the children of righteousness or progress in their father’s bidden. Not to forget it’s devilish inhabitants: such as fallen angels and ungodly personalities, who always hunt for souls of the righteous to destroy.
Notwithstanding, our today’s text, openly declared the situation of things to us; as believers. To start with, we are to be modest, realistic and to be at-alert at all times. Not forgetting, that the enemy of our souls, is still on rampage, working day and night to steal, kill and destroy. May you not be a victim in Jesus name. Amen.
The agony of the spiritual man and woman in Christ Jesus is basically sponsor by the archenemy of righteousness; Satan, who marked the righteous man and woman as the haunted ones.
Furthermore, our memory verse expressly confirmed that Christians are the haunted and deprived ones. It says; ” *Persecuted* , but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed.”
Wellbeloved, however to sum up, the concluding part of our memory verse stated that, though we are persecuted, we are not forsaken and when it seems that we are cast down, it is not to our destruction. Because, 1 John 4:4 revealed that,
_”Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”_ May God manifest HIMSELF on your behalf in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Greater is He that is me.

PRAYER POINT:
Father in your mercy, whatever the enemies may plan to haunt me, let it be ineffective against my life. Give me grace to remain an overcomer all the days of my life in Jesus name. Amen.

MEMBERS IN ONE BODY.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST.

DATE: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3, 2019.

THEME: MEMBERS IN ONE BODY.

MEMORY VERSE:
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:2.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Romans 12:3-5.
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The critical observation of the body system or structure revealed that the body is made up of several parts both great and small. Although many maybe miniature or insignificant, but without them the body is incomplete and challenge.
However, our today’s text declared that, _”For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office.”_ This is to show that, we all have different gifts and calling. For the scripture says: *”And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.”* (Ephesians 4:11)
More so, our memory verse expressly stated that, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”(Romans 12:2) The above admonition is to guide us against conformity that is not of God, as members in one body. Rather, we are to be transformed, good, acceptable and perfect before God.
Conclusively, Apostle Paul wrote to the Galatians saying; _”For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.”_ Invariably, you and I are God’s children, established in the world to light up the universe. The truth is that, no matter your age, status, statute, believe, gifts or calling, we all belong to God, for God’s pleasure and glory. May God continue to uphold, with grace to do HIS will now and always in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I belong to God. I am for God’s pleasure and glory.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, help me to always do my part in the body of Christ. Oh Lord, in your mercy, make me to remain relevant, till the end of time in Jesus name. Amen.

Are You Sure?

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST.

DATE: TUESDAY, APRIL 2, 2019.

THEME: ARE YOU SURE?

MEMORY VERSE:
“The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.”
Exodus 15:2.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Psalms 27:1, 4.
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
At salvation, we were watched, renew and set apart, as a new creature. Knowing full well, that old things had passed away and all things is new. More so, Holy Spirit help us to get along with the things of the spirit, as we daily meditates on the word of God.
However, it is sadden to note that, the majority, that claimed to have been saved, still live and engaged in activities that are void of regenerated life. The question now is, _”Are We Sure, that our salvation is intact?, And still possess same vibrant and healthy Christian lifestyle, as it was when we first gave our lives?”_
Meanwhile, Apostle Paul admonishes us in Titus 1:9 saying:
*”Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.”* Invariably, you and I must be firm in faith, grow in the sound apostolic knowledge, educate our fellow brethrens and convince the doubtful.
In conclusion, it is pertinent to declared that, there is tendency to fall from grace, but when this happens, what do we do? do you make amendments to salvage your salvation? And are you sure, that you will make Heaven, if Jesus come today? May God help us to be ever ready for Heavenly call in Jesus name. Amen

God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will hold on to Jesus: The permanent anchor of my soul.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, please give me grace to be ever ready for the Heavenly call. And help me Lord, to cooperate with your grace upon my life in Jesus name. Amen.
