TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Vision is an ideal or a goal toward which one aspires. Also, it can be defined to be: A religious or mystical experience of supernatural appearance. Therefore, in this new series, we shall be looking at vision from both angle of personal idea and mystical experience.
Vision can be referred to as, ” _What you perceives to be a great ideal, you aspire to achieve.”_
More so, vision can be, “Divine revelation, about the things to come, given in preparedness for its fulfilment.
Furthermore, vision can be classified into categories: Divine Vision, Personal Vision, Community Vision, Inherited or Acquired Vision and so on.
Conclusively, as children of God, vision serves to align us, with the divine plan and purpose. It acts as a guide to a better future, if properly followed and embraced. May God help us, to continue to key ourselves to divine relevation and vision in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.

The Haunted Ones. VI.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST.

DATE: Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

THEME: The Haunted Ones. VI.

MEMORY VERSE:
“And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.”
Acts 7:60.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Acts 7:57-59.
Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we saw a group of zealous people; who openly professed that they will not eat nor drink, till they had killed Paul. However, Paul used to be this zealous, going from one place to the other killing people who followed the new way.
Moreover, before Paul’s conversion, he was an ardent supporter of the Jewish tradition, that kicked against the new way. And Paul was the commandant that signed Stephen’s death warrant and confirmed it’s execution.
Meanwhile, at the point of death, Stephen’s death seems inconsequential to his executors, but the effect of it was severe on them, in no distant time.
Notwithstanding, Stephen was stoned, he was in great agony, he saw the end of his life coming faster and he prayed to God to receive his spirit, a prayer which God honour immediately.
Conclusively, our memory verse, points out the great virtue portraits by Stephen. He emulates Jesus on forgiveness by forgiven his executors. The truth is that, _’When you forgive those who sinned against you, you receive forgiveness from God.’_ (Matthew 6:14) May you receive grace to forgive those, who haunts or persecute you in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Forgive us as we forgive, those who trespass against us.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, you are a loving God. Help me to show love to all, irrespective of their attitude towards me. And oh Lord, give me grace to forgive those who sins against me in Jesus name. Amen.

The Haunted Ones. IV.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST.

DATE: Monday, April 15, 2019.

THEME:
The Haunted Ones. IV.

MEMORY VERSE:
“And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.”
Acts 12:7.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Acts 12:1-3.
“Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we considered Jeremiah’s good work and patience. We saw conspiracy against his good work and ministry. How people, he cared for repaid him with lies, with uproar, with imprisonment, with scourging and so on.
Notwithstanding, our today’s text further informed us of how a certain King Herod, rose against the church, in order to please a group of over zealous people. He killed Apostle James Zebedee, to haunt the early church. More so, he wanted to kill Apostle Simon Peter; who he put in prison, to be executed on a particular feast day.
Furthermore beloved in Christ, this is a pointer that the enemy is never satisfied, he is always wanting to cause more havoc. However, if we don’t take our rightful place in Christ Jesus, by standing in the gap for one another, the enemy may continue to have it’s way.
Conclusively, reading the passage further, you will realise that God sent an Angel to liberate Peter. An answer to the prayer of the church for him. When you pray for me, and I pray for you, together we destroy the devices of the haunter. May the good Lord intervene in our situation: as we move in one accord in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Holy Spirit; the Comforter, set me on fire, for the unity of the body of Christ.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, help the church to be in one accord, with unity of purpose. Oh Lord, may the enemy not sieve me away before my time in Jesus name. Amen

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST.

DATE: Saturday, April 13, 2019.

THEME: The Haunted Ones. III.

MEMORY VERSE:
“…When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.”
Isaiah 59:19.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Jeremiah 18:18, 20.
“Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah… Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words. Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have digged a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before thee to speak good for them, and to turn away thy wrath from them.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we saw the righteous Job; a man that fear God and eschew evil. Notwithstanding, Satan haunted him to the level, that his wife was fed up and she asked him to curse God in order to die and be free of his predicament.
However, our today’s text, present us with the evil counsel established against prophet Jeremiah to haunt him. The enemies devised means to silence him, rendered him useless and fruitless.
Meanwhile, despite their lies, their uproar, their imprisonment and beating, Jeremiah remain good to them and he focused on what God has to say, to his generation.
Furthermore, the scripture says: “Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.”
(Matthew 23:31) So, this is the pointer that the children of the wicked one, inherits wickedness, therefore, children of the righteous, should definitely inherits righteousness. Let ensure our wards, inherits from us, the fear of God and righteousness.
Finally, our memory verse expressly stated that, “…When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Dear friend, be rest assured that you are not alone, God got your back. May the spirit of God, continue to raise a standard against every flood, the enemies sends your way in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. *Jesus is coming soon.* Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
God is for me, let no man trouble me.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, you never leave your own helpless, you are instant help in time of need. Oh Lord, no matter how bad is the situation, let help arise for me instantly in Jesus name. Amen.
