THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST
DATE:
Tuesday, March 3, 2020.
THEME:
Vacancy. II.
MEMORY VERSE:
“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”
John 9:4.
TODAY’S TEXT:
John 4:35.
“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”
TODAY’S MESSAGE:
We opened this topic with explanation of what is vacancy. That, it is the availability of an empty space or post to be occupied. And for us as Christians, as we are called into God business of souls winning, we are implored to invite others too, for the work is larger than the available workforce.
Meanwhile, our today’s text admonished us of the urgency that this job demands, it is to startup immediately and not to procrastinate or wait for one particular period of time, before taking responsibility or resuming our duties. Our preparedness is very important, just like taking up a secular job, one must have prepared and ready, to take up the appointment.
Beloved, God created you, saved you and placed you here for a purpose, you are not here by accident. You are on assignment, you are on a mission to fill up a vacancy, in order to fulfill God’s eternal purpose here on Earth. You are a partaker of the new things God is orchestrating, don’t be left out, ensure you put in your quota, while it is day.
Finally, in the scheme of things, don’t be a spectator, rather be a participant. Be actively involved in the works of the Father. For when night comes, no work will be done. May you receive grace to take up the vacancy effectively and immediately in Jesus name. Amen.
God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.
DAILY CONFESSION:
I will no longer procrastinates or put off my duty in the Lord’s vineyard.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, you are truth to your word. Oh Lord, grant me grace to see, what you want me to see. And release for me, the enablement to take my duties in your vineyard serious in Jesus name. Amen.
Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
