TODAY’S TEXT:
1 Peter 3:6-7.
“Even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement. Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.”
TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we discovered that love is the central and one of the things that make the marriage work. Not forgetting that love hold no grudge, love unites and strengthen the relationship. Love is essential, it cannot be neglected.
However, in our days more attention is been given to eroticism. Well, it is pertinent we further look at love, not as an act of copulating alone but that of acceptance, respect, forgiveness and trust, simply put, the driving force of a good marriage.
Dear friend, the truth remains that, the love that sustains the marriage, is beyond copulation. It requires accepting your partner the way he or she is made by God, not because of physique or possessions. Most importantly, cherish all that you share with your spouse, the good and the bad ones.
Finally, “Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.”
(1 John 4:11) The forgiveness of wrongdoings is borne of love, also respect his or her personality, views and boundaries. When you truly love, you will trust your spouse, there is no doubt in love. Let true love reign in your marriage. Shalom!
God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.
