THEME:
The Divine Encounter. II.
MEMORY VERSE:
“And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.”
Genesis 32:26.
TODAY’S TEXT:
Genesis 32:28-29.
“And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.”
TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we saw that when one is yet to experience a divine encounter, life may be a bit difficulty and seemly without a genuine direction or progress. For it will take God’s intervention, for a negative destiny, to experience a positive change.
Meanwhile, when we say divine, we speak of that which is holy, heavenly, supernatural, superhuman and eternal. We refer to the Almighty God.
While, an encounter is an unplanned or unexpected meeting, such that happened suddenly leaving a remarkable memory behind.
However, our today’s text revealed some benefits of divine encounter such as meeting with a higher authority, one who could totally transform your life, you have a fellowship with God, there is also a change of name and a great blessings to crown it for you, just as it was the case of Jacob to Israel.
Finally, it’s like when you meet the only one that can help your destiny get to the next level, I am sure, you won’t let that fellow go, without helping you through. Beloved, this year ensure you hunger for an encounter with God and your life will not remain the same in Jesus name. Amen.
God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.
DAILY CONFESSION:
I will not remain the same, for my God will not pass me by. I will have an encounter that will change my life for good.
PRAYER POINT:
Father, you know me and my difficulties, in your mercy oh Lord, let there be a great transformation in every area of my life from today in Jesus name. Amen.
Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
Happy And Prosperous New year 2020!
