THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST
DATE:
Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
THEME:
The Defeated Enemies: Death.
MEMORY VERSE:
“He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces…”
Isaiah 25:8.
TODAY’S TEXT:
1 Corinthians 15:54-56.
“So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.”
TODAY’S MESSAGE:
As Christians, many are the battles of life that we face on daily basis, many of which are mimics or replay of previous battles, won for us by our Commandant; Jesus Christ. Or a reflex of the enemies reprisal, in order to recapture the lost ground.
Meanwhile, our today’s text expressly declared that, time is coming when soldiers of Christ, will transcend to immortality, in order to continue living in eternity. May you and I not miss this opportunity in Jesus name. Amen.
Furthermore, through our Lord and savior; Jesus Christ, as Christians we rejoice in the face of physical death, knowing full well that, it is a gateway to our eternal inheritance. And in Christ Jesus, we defeated death’s agony and Victoriously entered into our forever joy and rewards in heaven. Beloved, Jesus died for us, that we may not die, the second death after leaving the earth.
Finally by grace, we reign not over physical death alone, but over spiritual death and agony. May you receive grace and mercy from above, to remain in God’s love. Most importantly, may you not miss the victory won for you over death in Jesus name. Amen.
God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.
DAILY CONFESSION:
In my savour, I am rejoicing and glad.
PRAYER POINT:
Father in heaven, with You I am happy and blessed. In your mercy, help me to maintain my victory over physical and spiritual death in Jesus name. Amen.
Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
