THEME:
Entrusted With The Good News. II.
MEMORY VERSE:
“For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.”
Ezekiel 18:32.
TODAY’S TEXT:
Habakkuk 2:13-14.
“Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity? For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”
TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we started this series by looking at what the good news is to both laypeople and Christians. We say that good news always gladdens the heart and that the real good news, is all about God’s love to humanity through Jesus Christ.
Nevertheless, have you ever wonder as a Christian why you are entrusted with the good news? Well, simply put, “when you are healed, heal others, when you are saved, save others.” For you are a vessel of honour unto God and for the salvation of the world.
More so, an adage says, _”To whom much is given, much is expected.”_ The payment for your salvation was through God’s provision in the blood of the Lamb. And you are a lamp, burning and expected to lit other lamps, as you are lit through another burning lamp.
In summary, your testimony of salvation and the blessings of salvation, should not be kept to yourself, but that others may see and experience the same through your burning for Christ. May you remain burning for God in Jesus name. Amen. Shalom!
God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.
DAILY CONFESSION:
By His mercy, I am a vessel of honour, and through His grace, I will keep burning for my God.
PRAYER POINT:
Father of all grace, help me to always remember the good news entrusted in my care. Help me Lord, to remain a vessel of honour and to keep burning for you in Jesus name. Amen.
Yours in Christ,
The Narrow Way Team.
