THEME:
Divine Help: The Altruists
MEMORY VERSE:
“And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.”
1 Samuel 18:4.
TODAY’S TEXT:
Ruth 1:16-17.
“And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.”
TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The altruists are men and women, who are not selfish, having regard for others, both natural and moral. It is also a devotion to the interests of others by showing brotherly kindness.
The story of Ruth and Naomi is a good instance of altruism. Ruth’s undying decision to follow Naomi even at her old age, shows her love and concern for the Naomi. And if not for that singular act of kindness, Naomi would have died a miserable woman.
Beloved, do know that fulfillment could not have been possible without the efforts of the altruists, men and women sent from God to aid your journey in life. For Jonathan’s kindness towards David; a supposed rival to his inheritance, tell a great deal of selflessness an altruists may possess or show that they can help you irrespective of your relationship with them.
Conclusively, the altruists are the ones that believes that life is not only about them, but about you too. You may not know the way forward, when at a crossroad but God has a plan for your testimony to come out. May you meet with men and women, who will show you kindness this day in Jesus name. Amen.
God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

Yours in Christ,
