My Place In The King’s Business. IV.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

DATE: Thursday, October 3, 2019.

THEME: My Place In The King’s Business. IV.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.”
1 Corinthians 4:1.

TODAY’S TEXT:
1 Corinthians 4:4-5.
“For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we observe that wisdom, knowledge and understanding are part of the recipes needed to be productive in divine assignment.
Meanwhile, as one body, has many parts, and all parts work together for the good of the one body. So also, we are all parts of this glorious one body of Christ Jesus. With our own peculiarity and strength. For the scripture affirms it in Philippians 2:3 saying; *”Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.”*
More so, it is important to note that, by ourselves we know nothing, we can do nothing and we amount to nothing. For, it is God that endowed us with grace to function according to the measure of grace at our disposal.
Furthermore, Hebrews 12:1 declare thus; *and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”* Dear friend, let us not forget, that we are in a race, and our reward will be based on our achievement, not how far but how well.
Finally, Ephesians 4:1 crowns it saying; _”…I beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called.”_ Beloved, let us on daily basis, honourably perform or carry out our duties before God and man, to which the faithful rewarder, will reward our labour of love.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
With God, I can do all things through Christ Jesus, who strengthens me.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, help me not to forget my place in Christ Jesus. Give me grace to honourably and diligently carry out my responsibilities in the body of Christ and in the world in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

THEME: My Place In The King’s Business. III.

MEMORY VERSE:
“For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.”
1 Corinthians 12:12.

TODAY’S TEXT:
1 Corinthians 12:10-11.
“To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues. But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we considered the importance of up holding our God’s given gift with joy. We also examine the need for concentration on our specialties or personal area of calling.
However, Wisdom, knowledge and understanding are part of the recipes to maximize our God’s given talents.
More so, It is important to note that our different area of expertise, are just diversity, for the beauty or expansion of the King’s business. Such as finance department, marketing department, human resources department, logistic department, Security department and what a view. All these work together to achieve the vision and the mission of the establishment.
Furthermore, although your gift, may appear minute, but do know that, it is powerful and effective in accordance to the given assignment. And a service assign, specific or peculiar to a logistic department, can only be carried out effectively by the same department. While all effort put in place by another department to carry it out, will not be as effective as when the supposed logistic apartment perform it.
In conclusion, our memory verse reminds us, that as one body, has many parts, so also is Christ. We are all one in Christ Jesus. Peter preached in open crusade, John prayed and saw great vision, Paul wrote Epistles, Apollos motivate, James counsel and so on. At the end, they all receive their reward. May you not miss your reward in heaven in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
By the mercy of God, I will not miss my reward.

PRAYER POINT:
Faithful Father, help me in your mercy to cherish my gift. And to respect and see others as co-workers in your vineyard in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

In a typical large firm, there are so many departments with cross sections of workers, ranging from management staff, senior staff, junior staff and not to forget the usual casual workers. And each level is furnished with the required skills and knowledge to maximize efficiency and productivity.

“And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Ecclesiastes chapter 3:1-8 talks about time by allotting time for all human situations. This shows that, It is appointed to everything that has beginning, to also have ending, in order for freshness or new things to evolve.
Rush hour is that hour, that demands a great haste. A time in which you must be up and doing on your feet, active and at alert. A common experience in urban areas, and it is one of the hustle and bustle of the city life every one crave for, so as to make ends meet. A time so peculiar to every heavenly minded believer, of the imminent return of our heavenly Bridegroom: Jesus, the Savior of the world.
Moreover, our today’s text admonish us to be prepared at all times. As a house owner, would not know the hour, burglars will strike. Hence, he would have employ formidable hands to combat. So we must get together all our strength to be ready for the rapture; whether general or individual departure.
Furthermore, people rush at this hour, in order to make a social or official appointments, some to the place of their daily bread. Beloved in Christ Jesus, this hour we are into, is the very rush hour. The hour you and I, are to ensure we make the appointment with our Maker, whenever He beckon on us.
Conclusively, the scripture says; _”Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin…”_ (Romans 6:11) Do ensure you are dead to sin, so as not to miss the divine moment. May you not miss out on the day of gathering of the saints in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

By God’s grace and mercy. I will not miss rapture.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, thank you for your mercy, grace and love over my life. Please Lord, in this perilous time, help me to be faithful and ready in righteousness till the end in Jesus name. Amen.
