TODAY’S TEXT:
Genesis 39:7-9.
“And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me. But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand; There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?”
TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we considered the unending love and compassionate aspects of the good shepherd, who ensures that His sheep rest and enjoy the multiple supply of food and resources, that nourishes them till old age.
Meanwhile, our memory verse reveals another aspects of life that the sheep enjoy from the good shepherd which are Restoration; Fellowship with acceptance and Counseling; guardian and directions in order not to go astray in the wilderness of life.
However, the Joseph’s experience and his response in today’s text calls to mind, the predators tricks to lure to destruction, and the blessedness of having the Good Shepherd as one’s Shepherd.
Jesus is the good shepherd, who admonish, encourage, and guide his sheep on the right path and doing right thing all the time. Moreso, He supplies the grace to stand firm in the face of life’s trials and tribulations.
Conclusively, beloved in Christ Jesus, your present situation is not hidden to the Good Shepherd, He knows that you are in it. Surely, His grace will see you through and you will not fall into error in Jesus name. Amen.
God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.
