*”To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”* (Ecclesiastes 3:1) Beloved in Christ, the Bible established that in life, there is a season for everything and time for every purpose. And seasons assigned for everything around us.
But then, do you know the reason while It is important not to lose your purpose and time in life? Because it is a duty assign by God to mankind. Even when, it seems unrealistic, do go in line with God’s plan.
Furthermore, Ecclesiastes 3:3 says, *”A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up.”* This connotes that in life, there is always ups and downs as you pass through different life’s stages, so learn to blend with it. “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
Psalms 91:2.

TODAY’S TEXT:
2 Samuel 22:2-3.
“And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
As humans many times, we seek help where there is no help, that’s seeking help from helpless places or persons all because we missed our turn and are on a wrong track filled with dangerous and deadly traps.
Meanwhile, in the event of the above scenery, safety is paramount. Consider this, to whom do you turn or call when the waters around you are troubled? Do you rely on your knowledge, family, friends or God?
The truth remains, as the Psalmist had put it, *”The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer…”* Beloved, in the face of life adversity, let God be your abode and defence, and He will be saved, from violence and negativity.
In conclusion, when you make God your high tower and your only refuge, do know that testimony awaits you and through His grace, you will boldly say, “I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” Shalom!

The University Of Marriage. IX.

MEMORY VERSE:
My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction.”
Proverbs 3:11.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Proverbs 1:8-9.
“My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we look at the need and importance of the couples practising the same faith. As in one Lord, one faith and one baptism. Having one belief is necessary for spiritual stability and growth. Stability and growth are part of the parent’s duties and responsibilities to their children.
Meanwhile, today will be looking at some specific roles assigned for each couple in marriage towards the child upbringing. Therefore, a father is given roles, Father has a duty of provision, protection, stability, discipline and role modelling to mention a few. As a man may God grant you grace to provide for your home.
Nevertheless, the mother also has duties to the family, she has a duty of affection, nourishment, safety, training and role modelling. While the father is the breadwinner, the mother is the home manager. So, as a woman, may God grant you the grace to manage your home.
In summary, both man and a woman in marriage have roles, duties and responsibilities to the marriage and the children. Whether as a breadwinner or a home manager, you must be diligent and ready to do your best regarding your God-given roles. Don’t forget, you are a role model to your wards. They will learn from you. Shalom.

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will be diligent in my roles, duties and responsibilities to my marriage.

PRAYER POINT:
Almighty God and Father, give me the grace to perform my daily roles genuinely and adequately in my marriage in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
The Narrow Way Team.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives?”
Nehemiah 13:27.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Numbers 36:6
This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we discovered that husband and wife are not the owners of their children, that they are simply custodians, children are God’s heritage and they belong to God. Children are given to the couples for proper guidance, care and support in life.
However, today we will discuss one of the criteria necessary for proper guidance of our wards. This is caption as, *”One Lord, one faith, one baptism.”* (Ephesians 4:5) Although our main text advises marrying someone best for you but must be of your family in faith. While our memory verse kicked against marrying a strange spouse, for it is a sin against God.
More so, the scriptures say, *”Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”* (2 Corinthians 6:14) This implies that, marrying a man or woman outside your faith, will drag you backwards, break down your communication and fellowship with God.
In summary, *”Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”* (Proverbs 22:6) Beloved, with what faith are teaching your children? Balanced or in balance faith? Are you rooted and rooting your wards in the teaching and knowledge of God? Hear this, husband and wife must be of one faith. Failure to do this will be very unfortunate and disastrous for the children. May you not fail in teaching your children, the way of the Lord. Amen. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
My household will serve One Lord, have one faith and one baptism in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER POINT:
Father Lord, help my household to remain one in faith and service to You. And give me the grace to train my children with a genuine knowledge of God, that my family may abide in the truth of the gospel always in Jesus name. Amen.

The Narrow Way Team.

MEMORY VERSE:
“My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding.”
Proverbs 5:1.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Proverbs 4:3-5.
“For I was my father’s son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments and live. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we further emphasize the importance of true love in marriage. Love remains the soul of every working relationship, it practices forgiveness, respect, acceptance, unity and trust. In love there is no ill, love cares, love strengthens and beautify marriage.
Meanwhile, one of our ordination in marriage is to be custodians of God’s heritage, (the Children). That is to say, in marriage, husband and wife, have a duty of care and protection from dangers assign by God.
However, it is important to collaborate, help one another and be firm in discharging our duty and responsibilities with love to our wards through daily guidance and support. This requires daily meeting God for direction
In summation, as custodians of God’s heritage, we must guide through right counsel, introduce God to our wards, and must be of a good example through our words and actions. Shalom.

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will not fail to teach and bring my children to the way and knowledge of God.

PRAYER POINT:
Almighty Father, thank you for our children born and unborn. Oh Lord, we ask for the grace to train our children in your way and not fail to be lead by a good example in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
