Occupy Till I Come. IV.

MEMORY VERSE:
“But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.”
Luke 19:27.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Luke 19:20-21.
“And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin: For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we discussed about being passionate and diligence in the service committed into our hands. And that as Christian, you should not be disturbed by those, who are more successful than you do in God’s service or be discourage by those who fold their arms doing nothing. Rather, you should endeavor to do your best on daily basis and great shall your reward be before God.
Sadly, a particular servant came up for his own report, and instead of results, he was full of complain, argument and bitterness. He could not appreciate the privilege given him to occupy and reign in his master’s stead. We most times, forget that our gifts are currency deposited in us, for heavenly profitable gains.
In the same vein, many of us often act like this slothful and ungrateful servant. We allowed the pressure of work to do, people’s opinions and anger to blindfold our vision and we failed to see into what the future has to unfold for us. Through which many, became the enemy of their own destiny.
Finally, do something for the Lord today and no matter how little is the result, it is better than doing nothing. And our memory verse, speak of what will be the reward of the unjust servants: *”…bring hither, and slay them before me.”* What a pity! Instead of reigning over city(ies), that which they had will be withdrawn and damnation will be their reward. May you not be damned at the end of time in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I receive grace to serve God diligently and not to be slothful in service.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, you are a good God and by grace, You have deposited virtues into my bosom. Help me Lord, not to be slothful in Your service and give me grace to be profitable in all that I do in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

The Challenges Of The Anointed. I.

THEME:
The Challenges Of The Anointed. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.”
Acts 16:17.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Acts 16:23-24.
“And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely: Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The truth remains that the anointed is empowered for service. Although one will feel that the grace, will not come with challenges, but the truth is that, no matter how anointed you are, you must drink from the cup allotted for that level of anointing.
Meanwhile, as we have in our memory verse, an evil spirit even acknowledge God’s grace upon Paul and Silas, and could speak of their mission in the city of Thyatira. Beloved, when you are empowered by grace, the forces around will acknowledge that you are not ordinary. Do know that your experience is not for fun, but to serve a purpose.
However, as anointed as Paul and Silas were, they could not escape humiliation, beating, chains and imprisonment. Don’t forget that at the end, all things will work together for your good. (Romans 8:28) And to the glory of God, that challenge launch them into another open door for souls.
In conclusion, what you need is to ask God for grace to be able to withstand the ministerial challenges as they come your way, to the glory of God and for the salvation of souls. In all, we must be respectful, as we hold on to Jesus. Surely, he is the only one to save and help us in tackling whatever challenges, anointing may bring along.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I receive grace, not faint in the face of life’s challenges.

PRAYER POINT:
Father of all Glory and Grace. Help me Lord, to fulfill my purpose in Christ Jesus. And whatever I need to do for the salvation of souls around me, may I cooperate with you in doing it in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
