More so, in our memory verse, our Lord Jesus Christ, also calls you and me, “The light of the world.” That is to say, you are born to shine in Christ. He further declared us to be a city on high that cannot be hidden. If you are a light, not matter what, you cannot be hidden.

Light Of The World. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.”
Philippians 2:15.

TODAY’S TEXT:
1 John 1:5-6
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Literarily, light is a source of illumination. Or a flood of luminous rays, which flows from the sun and constitutes a day. In Genesis 1: 5 the Bible says, *”God call the light a day and darkness the night…”* As Christians, we know that light brings about spiritual, physical and mental illumination; it produces enlightenment with useful information.
Meanwhile, our today’s text reveals that God is light and in Him there is no darkness. And if we’re of God, there can be no darkness in us, except we lie and have no truth in us. While Exodus 27:20 says, *”…that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always.”* This connotes that for you and I to continue to burn for God, we must be purged and pure.
Furthermore, our memory verse remind us as children of God to be blameless, harmless, pure and strong as long as we’re in this crooked and perverse world. We must remain lights shining always in order to put an end to darkness around us.
In conclusion, Philippians 2:16 says, *”Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ…”* This speaks of the consistency needed to continue to shine, that we may rejoice in the day of Christ reward. May you not miss your reward in heaven in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I am a light of the world. I will continue to shine.

PRAYER POINT:
Father of light and grace, You are the source of my light and life. Help me to remain shining brighter and brighter everyday. And as I shine Lord, send darkness far away from me and my household in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last two series, we have been able to establish the permanency of the eternal destinations. What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
We open this series, knowing full well that, there is a place, an everlasting place for souls after leaving or at the expiration of the allotted time in this terrestrial globe. There is a place the soul will get to, based on the choice of life you lived, while on earth. A place of everlasting fellowship with God or a place agony with the devil.
Nevertheless, there is Heaven and there is hell, both are eternal destiny. The truth is that eternal destiny means permanent destination, a forever home where the souls cannot leave or escape once you get there.
Notwithstanding, our today’s text reveals that sin works against righteousness. So as to populate hell, while righteousness is to populate Heaven. Verily, all the fruits of sin, to a righteous man, are now nothing but things of shame. Knowing that the end of it, is eternal death.
Finally, our memory verse established it that, *”The wages of sin is death, while the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.”* Beloved, holiness and sin are both determinants to man’s forever city. Sin brings about second death, I implore you, dear friend to choose holiness and live forever in eternity.
