TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Last time, we saw Daniel helping a troubled king from going into depressed and psychiatric mode by his timely revelation and interpretation of the divine judgement upon Nebuchadnezzar, through his night rest dreams.
Meanwhile, whatever you do, either good or bad, people will always keep records of it. Our today’s text testify to Daniel’s living for God. To which the Queen declared, *”…in whom is the spirit of the holy gods;* and light and understanding and wisdom, *like the wisdom of the gods,* was found in him…” Such can be say about you and I, when we align ourselves with God’s design and purpose.
Nevertheless, the Queen went further to announce that, *”… shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel.”* This connotes that no puzzle can destabilize him, he has answer for all of his contemporaries troubles. May the good Lord, make you a solution provider, wherever you find yourself in Jesus name. Amen.
Finally, although you may be little or poor, but when you live for God, you can boldly stand by Kings and any Royal court of nations. _”For greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.”_ Dear friend, as you determined to live for God, do know that through grace, great testimonies shall always go before you, to announce your God. Living for God: Daniel’s Example. I.

Living For God: Daniel’s Example. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king’s meat.”
Daniel 1:15.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Daniel 1:8-9.
“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Let’s look at Daniel’s life, in order to learn his principles on how to live life day by day. Daniel happens to be one of the most courageous and faithful men in the entire Bible.
For instance, we see in Daniel 1:4 “Children without blemish, of good appearance and skillful in all wisdom, endowed with knowledge, understanding learning, and competent to stand in the king’s palace…” From the onset Daniel had made a decision to live righteous. Daniel wasn’t living in the best of conditions. He after all was in captivity. Today, fear what schools teach our wards, that somehow this will influence them to not live for God. Furthermore, in Daniel 1:8, the scripture says: “But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drank…” I am telling you, when you have an encounter with God, your heart changes and it makes no difference of your environment or your schooling. Daniel had an encounter with God and he made a decision that he was going to serve God regardless of the conditions. Daniel had made a decision not to follow the crowd but God.
Finally, Daniel had a right perspective of God. The king had established a decree to feed all the palace trainees in Babylon with sumptuous meals and costly wine in order to appear plump, which he rejected. Daniel knowing full well that, God’s plan and purpose for him is better and glorious. The truth remain that, when you determine to live for God, God will back your determination with grace.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
In whatever situation or condition, I will always live for God in all my ways.

PRAYER POINT:
Ever living God, you are always able to save and deliver. Help me Lord, to live my life for You always in Jesus name. Amen

Yours in Christ,
Asaba Demilade Richard.

The Christian Armour: Peace.

MEMORY VERSE:
“And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.”
Ephesians 6:15.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Matthew 5:9.
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Peace is a state of quietness or freedom from disturbance of any sort. And to be in peace, is to reconciled and to live in harmony with others. Peace is a virtue and a sign of maturity, even in a time of war.
Nevertheless, to live in peace, is to be loving, peaceful and happy. And our today’s text truly explain the status of the peaceful as blessed saying: *”Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”* Settling rifts and reconciling people gladden God’s heart. It is a great privilege to be a child of God. For there is no one to contend with God.
Furthermore, our memory verse reminds us as God’s children to spread the gospel of peace saying: *”And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.”* It is mandatory for us to preach love, forgiveness and reconciliation to all people of the world.
In conclusion, confidence, assurance and rest of mind is not far from the peacemakers, for God fight for them always. Do know that the peace of God brings about oneness, which leads to harmony, progress and development. May divine peace fill your heart, now and always in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will continue to live in peace in my neighborhood.

PRAYER POINT:
Oh God of Heaven and the Earth, you are the father of the peacemakers. Help me Lord, to continue to live in peace and spread the gospel of peace everywhere I go in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

The Christian Armour: The Truth.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

THEME:
The Christian Armour: The Truth.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth…”
Ephesians 6:14

TODAY’S TEXT:
John 3:20-21.
“For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
What is truth? Literally, it is the conformity to fact, the reality, the exact accordance with that which is, or has been, or shall be. It is the true state of facts or things. It is the real fact of just principle, that we called, the real state of things. And as Christians, truth is a virtue, a gift from God. An offensive weapon against the enemies, a light to destroy the darkness of lies. And we do know that, to speak truth, is to practice what God commands.
Meanwhile, there is a worldly saying that says, “Truth is bitter.” Meaning that, to say the truth is a hard thing to do. But in 2 Corinthians 13:8, Paul says; *”For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.”* That’s no matter what you do to silence or bury the truth, the truth must still come out somehow.
Furthermore, the gospel of John 8:32 declared thus: *”And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”* The knowledge of the truth, is paramount to total victory over forces that fight our destinies. When you stand by the truth and for the truth, you are dealing a heavy blow on the agents of darkness. And they have no legal ground over you.
Finally, in John 14:6, Jesus says; *”…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”* The fact remains that, Jesus is the truth, that is so bitter for the world to swallow. And when Jesus is in your camp, your victory is certain.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will always speak the truth, no matter what. And I will remain truthful to God all my days.

PRAYER POINT:
Faithful Father, send me afresh today, the spirit of truth. That I may speak the truth always. And Lord, give me the grace to be truthful now and always in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

THEME:
The Christian Armour: The Word of God. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“…I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.”
Numbers 22:18.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Psalms 119:105, 114.
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we made it clear that, the word of God, is an offensive weapon, which is quick, powerful, sharper than any two edged sword and able to separate soul, spirit and body. While our today’s memory verse strictly admonish us not to do less or more than what the word of God command or dictates.
Beloved in Christ, do know that, the word of God, is infallible, because it was written under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and therefore free from all error of fact or doctrine or precept. It is an indispensable means of salvation, and is efficacious by the gracious influence of the Holy Spirit.
Furthermore, Romans 10:17 links Faith with the word of God saying: *”So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”* That’s to please God or do exploit for God through faith in God, you and I must be able to dig deep into God’s will and promises, His word.
Finally, the Psalmist present the word of God, as a light to illuminate our way. And it put us at an advantage against the enemies, by preventing us from stumbling where they stumbled. Therefore, let’s take the word of God as Sword of the spirit, to fight the good fight of faith and as a lamp that we may have smooth journey as the battle of life rages on.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Thy word oh Lord, is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. You are my hiding place and my shield.

PRAYER POINT:
Father in heaven, you sent your word to heal and to deliver. Please Lord, send the power of your word afresh into our hearts, that we may continue to triumph over all foes in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
