Don’t Lose Your Voice. I.
“Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he hath pronounced against you.”
“For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.”
Literally, voice is refer to as sound uttered by the mouth, especially that uttered by human beings in speech or song; but truly speaking, it is more than just utterance. It represents you in many ways and it says a lots about your potentials, your ability, your skills, your character, your admirations, your intentions, and personality. It is all about you.
Meanwhile, our today’s text further highlights voice to be of emotion, of gladness, of fruitfulness and many more. While the opening of the text, God is saying this can cease, if care is not taking. That is, one can lose his joy, fruitfulness, abilities, skills and destiny, if one indulge in things, that God detest.
However, our memory verse proffer a way forward, through counsel, of the need to amend our ways, our actions and our obedience to God’s instructions, will preserve our voice, destiny and life from going into oblivion.
In conclusion, beloved of God, the scripture says in Ezekiel 18:32, *”For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.”* Therefore, let’s amend our ways and God will fortify gifts and grace in our lives the more. May you not lose your place in Christ Jesus in Jesus name. Amen.
God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
My voice, Is my identity as a Christian. Through the mercy of God, I will not lose my voice.
Father, in your mercy, be merciful onto me. Oh Lord, help me not lose my identity in Christ Jesus. And may I not lose my voice of salvation and peace in Jesus name. Amen.
