    THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

    DATE:
    Thursday, April 9, 2020.

    THEME:
    The Christian Armour: Faith.

    MEMORY VERSE:
“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”
    Ephesians 6:16.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    Luke 7:50
And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

    Acts 6:8
And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Faith is another wonderful defensive weapon available in christian armoury. It is having agreement with the truth of what is declared by God, resting on His authority and veracity. It is the understanding or belief in the truth of what God has revealed or what God will do for you. In other words, it is the firm belief of God’s power and testimony.
However, our today’s texts affirms that through faith, our heart desire is made to come to pass. And just like Stephen, we too can do exploits for God in our little corners.
Dear friend, our memory verse strictly admonish us to take the shield of faith, in order to be able to stop all the fiery arrows and assault of the foes. And through faith, you lay claims to God’s promises for your life. It helps in defeating whatever negativity that the enemies may be coming with against you.
In conclusion, the scripture says in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Beloved in Christ, do know that to please God, you must walk in faith and not in fear. And the level of your faith, is the level of your trust in God’s ability, on which your victory stands.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.

Furthermore, Isaiah 11:5 says, *”And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins…”* This text refer to righteousness as a Christian Belt, which hold up your garment firmly in order to have a better and full confidence in your appearance and without loosing focus on the task at hand.
Finally beloved, Proverbs 14:34 inscribe thus: *”Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”* This revealing text expressly declared, that to be victorious, we need righteousness, and that sins bring about shame and failure. The Christian Armour: Salvation. II.

    MEMORY VERSE:
“For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.”
    Isaiah 59:17.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    Psalms 119:155
“Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.”

    Psalms 140:7.
“O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we considered salvation as man’s redemption from the bondage of sin and eternal death through Jesus sacrifice on the cross of calvary. Let’s not forget that godly sorrow leads to genuine repentance, which brings about salvation. Salvation is the helmet of protection against adversaries assault.
Meanwhile, the scripture says in Psalm 119: 155, *”Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.”* This connotes that as many that do not seek or permit God’s will, in or around them are wicked and there is no salvation for such people, except they repent.
Furthermore, one will not be able to affirmatively declare as the Psalmist says in Psalms 140:7,
*”O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.”* A cover over one’s head and a protection from destruction.
In conclusion beloved, jealously safeguard your salvation, ensure it is intact by His grace. That you may be secured and save from rain of satanic hailstones against your life and destiny. May you remain in God’s will in Jesus name. Amen.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
    *Jesus is coming very soon.*
    Be prepared.

    DAILY CONFESSION:
I will hold on to the Lord, the strength of my salvation.

    PRAYER POINT:
Almighty Father, you are the Ancient of days and the Almighty One. In your mercy, help me to daily seek your will for my life and my household. May I not loose your glory and your protection over my life and destiny in Jesus name. Amen.

    The Christian Armour: Salvation. I.

    MEMORY VERSE:
“And take the helmet of salvation…”
    Ephesians 6:17.

    Philippians 1:28.
“And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Literally, salvation is simply an act of saving from destruction or great calamity. The truth is that, Salvation is the redemption of man from the bondage of sin and the liability to eternal death, and adding on him everlasting happiness. It is a great privilege won for believers in Christ Jesus, to safeguard them from satanic destruction and damnation. The scripture says; “Godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation. (2 Corinthians 7:10) That, genuine repentance results in salvation.
More so, Romans 10:10 says: “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Your confession of what you believe, established your salvation. It is a deliverance from enemy’s victory in the garden of Eden. And it is the remission of our sins, a saving grace from final judgement of the unjust by God.
Furthermore, our memory verse calls it helmet, which provides protection to the head. Beloved, If a soldier is injured in the hands, legs or chest, he can still survive, with adequate care. But once the head is out, no remedy to such a life. May your head not be remove in Jesus name. Amen.
Finally, salvation as helmet protect your soul against destruction from the devil, the enemy of our soul. The more reason the head needs more protection during warfare. May you not loose your salvation in Jesus name. Amen.
