The Christian Armour: Faith.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”
Ephesians 6:16.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Luke 7:50
And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

Acts 6:8
And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Faith is another wonderful defensive weapon available in christian armoury. It is having agreement with the truth of what is declared by God, resting on His authority and veracity. It is the understanding or belief in the truth of what God has revealed or what God will do for you. In other words, it is the firm belief of God’s power and testimony.
However, our today’s texts affirms that through faith, our heart desire is made to come to pass. And just like Stephen, we too can do exploits for God in our little corners.
Dear friend, our memory verse strictly admonish us to take the shield of faith, in order to be able to stop all the fiery arrows and assault of the foes. And through faith, you lay claims to God’s promises for your life. It helps in defeating whatever negativity that the enemies may be coming with against you.
In conclusion, the scripture says in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Beloved in Christ, do know that to please God, you must walk in faith and not in fear. And the level of your faith, is the level of your trust in God’s ability, on which your victory stands.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
My faith looks up to you, Oh Lord Jesus, the Lamb of God on Calvary.

PRAYER POINT:
Sweet and Faithful Saviour, in You alone resides all power and grace. Please Lord, in this Christian warfare, increase my faith in You. And help me not to be tired, but to continue to uphold my shield of faith against all foes in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
