THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

DATE:
Tuesday, April 7, 2020.

THEME:
The Christian Armour: Salvation. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.”
Isaiah 59:17.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Psalms 119:155
“Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.”

Psalms 140:7.
“O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we considered salvation as man’s redemption from the bondage of sin and eternal death through Jesus sacrifice on the cross of calvary. Let’s not forget that godly sorrow leads to genuine repentance, which brings about salvation. Salvation is the helmet of protection against adversaries assault.
Meanwhile, the scripture says in Psalm 119: 155, *”Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.”* This connotes that as many that do not seek or permit God’s will, in or around them are wicked and there is no salvation for such people, except they repent.
Furthermore, one will not be able to affirmatively declare as the Psalmist says in Psalms 140:7,
*”O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.”* A cover over one’s head and a protection from destruction.
In conclusion beloved, jealously safeguard your salvation, ensure it is intact by His grace. That you may be secured and save from rain of satanic hailstones against your life and destiny. May you remain in God’s will in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will hold on to the Lord, the strength of my salvation.

PRAYER POINT:
Almighty Father, you are the Ancient of days and the Almighty One. In your mercy, help me to daily seek your will for my life and my household. May I not loose your glory and your protection over my life and destiny in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
