Living For God: Daniel’s Example. IV.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.”
Daniel 6:16.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Daniel 6:10.
“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we saw testimony of great things or some wonder gifts and achievements of Daniel, through his commitment to live and serve the living God. The testimony that goes before him, is evidence of God’s faithfulness. Although, the enemies succeeded in throwing him into Lion’s den.
The question is, when Daniel gets thrown in the lion’s den, what is he really going to do? He would do, what he always do regardless of the situation. Even if deliverance did not come, Daniel was going to faithfully serve God. We have all heard it said that we can’t choose our circumstance but we can choose what we are going to do in the midst of them.
Nevertheless, have you ever said or maybe heard someone else say, “Lord, if you get me out of this jungle, I promise you, I will serve you.” We all know that is not how it works. We must do as Daniel did and make consistent daily choices to serve God regardless of the ups and downs.
Finally beloved in Christ, Life isn’t always like the movies, exciting and adventurous. Lots of times, it is simply mundane and routine and it is during these times, when how we choose to live matters. May you not lose focus on God, when the going get tougher in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
No matter what may happen. By grace, I will stand firm in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER POINT:
Faithful Father, it is in You, I am complete. And I can do all things, through Christ who strengthens me. Help me Lord, to forever live my life in You and for You in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

Living For God: Daniel’s Example. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“…because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.”
Daniel 4:9.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Daniel 4:5-6.
“I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we saw young Daniel’s zeal and commitment to God. A decision to stand and live for God alone. This alone, brought him favour, respect, wisdom, love, knowing dreams, interpretation of dreams and good position in a strange land.
Meanwhile, the whole of Daniel chapter four, present us with Daniel’s dimensional growth from a wise young man, to someone who can tell of what people dreamed at night and the interpretation of such dreams.
Furthermore, the Herculean task given to all the wise men of the kingdom to solve, through divine grace, Daniel was able to tell of the king’s dream, hence, they all die. Beloved, when you are committed to God’s will, be sure that you will not perish with the enemies. For God will make a way out, for you and all yours.
Finally dear friend, how is your relationship with God, your Maker? Are you determine to stand with God? To speak and deliver His message without fear or favour? Because, when you do, God will always be there for you and you will not remain the same. May you receive grace to grow in all areas of life in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
For I know that the spirit of the Holy God is in me, and no secret will trouble me.

PRAYER POINT:
Father in heaven, you made your ministers, flame of fire. Oh Lord, take not your Holy spirit from me, but make me a flame of fire, that will continue to burn for you in Jesus name. Amen.

Daniel 5:14.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Daniel 5:11-12.
“…in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him… Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Last time, we saw Daniel helping a troubled king from going into depressed and psychiatric mode by his timely revelation and interpretation of the divine judgement upon Nebuchadnezzar, through his night rest dreams.
Meanwhile, whatever you do, either good or bad, people will always keep records of it. Our today’s text testify to Daniel’s living for God. To which the Queen declared, *”…in whom is the spirit of the holy gods;* and light and understanding and wisdom, *like the wisdom of the gods,* was found in him…” Such can be say about you and I, when we align ourselves with God’s design and purpose.
Nevertheless, the Queen went further to announce that, *”… shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel.”* This connotes that no puzzle can destabilize him, he has answer for all of his contemporaries troubles. May the good Lord, make you a solution provider, wherever you find yourself in Jesus name. Amen.
Finally, although you may be little or poor, but when you live for God, you can boldly stand by Kings and any Royal court of nations. _”For greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.”_ Dear friend, as you determined to live for God, do know that through grace, great testimonies shall always go before you, to announce your God. May the spirit of the Lord continue to work through you now and always in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*

Living for God: Daniel’s Example. I.

Living For God: Daniel’s Example. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king’s meat.”
Daniel 1:15.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Daniel 1:8-9.
“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Let’s look at Daniel’s life, in order to learn his principles on how to live life day by day. Daniel happens to be one of the most courageous and faithful men in the entire Bible.
For instance, we see in Daniel 1:4 “Children without blemish, of good appearance and skillful in all wisdom, endowed with knowledge, understanding learning, and competent to stand in the king’s palace…” From the onset Daniel had made a decision to live righteous. Daniel wasn’t living in the best of conditions. He after all was in captivity. Today, fear what schools teach our wards, that somehow this will influence them to not live for God. Furthermore, in Daniel 1:8, the scripture says: “But Daniel resolved that he would not defile himself with the king’s food, or with the wine that he drank…” I am telling you, when you have an encounter with God, your heart changes and it makes no difference of your environment or your schooling. Daniel had an encounter with God and he made a decision that he was going to serve God regardless of the conditions. Daniel had made a decision not to follow the crowd but God.
Finally, Daniel had a right perspective of God. The king had established a decree to feed all the palace trainees in Babylon with sumptuous meals and costly wine in order to appear plump, which he rejected. Daniel knowing full well that, God’s plan and purpose for him is better and glorious. The truth remain that, when you determine to live for God, God will back your determination with grace.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
In whatever situation or condition, I will always live for God in all my ways.

PRAYER POINT:
Ever living God, you are always able to save and deliver. Help me Lord, to live my life for You always in Jesus name. Amen

Yours in Christ,
Asaba Demilade Richard.

The Christian Armour: Peace.

MEMORY VERSE:
“And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.”
Ephesians 6:15.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Matthew 5:9.
“Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Peace is a state of quietness or freedom from disturbance of any sort. And to be in peace, is to reconciled and to live in harmony with others. Peace is a virtue and a sign of maturity, even in a time of war.
Nevertheless, to live in peace, is to be loving, peaceful and happy. And our today’s text truly explain the status of the peaceful as blessed saying: *”Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”* Settling rifts and reconciling people gladden God’s heart. It is a great privilege to be a child of God. For there is no one to contend with God.
Furthermore, our memory verse reminds us as God’s children to spread the gospel of peace saying: *”And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.”* It is mandatory for us to preach love, forgiveness and reconciliation to all people of the world.
In conclusion, confidence, assurance and rest of mind is not far from the peacemakers, for God fight for them always. Do know that the peace of God brings about oneness, which leads to harmony, progress and development. May divine peace fill your heart, now and always in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will continue to live in peace in my neighborhood.

PRAYER POINT:
Oh God of Heaven and the Earth, you are the father of the peacemakers. Help me Lord, to continue to live in peace and spread the gospel of peace everywhere I go in Jesus name. Amen.
