When You Die, Will They Be Right? II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.”
Ezekiel 18:32.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Ezekiel 18:27-28.
“Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the opening of this series, we observed a cultural believe, which opines thus; “When you die smiling, you are going to heaven or you are seeing heavenly figure(s) already.” Well, there may be a bit of truth in this believe, if such a fellow is a genuine child of God. Rather, such smile can be of earthly joy of having family members around at such a crucial time in one’s life.
Another, position supported by this people is that, “All philanthropist when they die, are going to heaven irrespective of their believe or religion.” Therefore, when such dies, the community will be agog with mixed feeling of sorrow and of joy. Sorrow because of the good deeds, and Joy because of where they believe, the fellow is going.
Frankly speaking, not all philanthropist are genuine, there are ritualist, men and women who amount wealth through voodooism, by extension using charity as cover up.
Finally beloved in Christ, generosity is a virtue, which is expected of every heavenly minded individuals, and their reward is with God. While a man who indulge in ritual killing, no amount of his wealth to charity, can save his soul, except he repented and live a righteous life.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

I will patiently wait on God, till my faith produce a bountiful harvest.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
