THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

DATE:
Saturday, June 12, 2021.

THEME:
The Power Of Obedience. III.

MEMORY VERSE:
“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.”
Isaiah 1:19.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Philippians 2:8-9.
“And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we observed that obedience leads to perfection, promotion and fulfilment of destiny and ordination in Christ Jesus. What a good way to go forward!
Meanwhile, our memory verse also speaks of abundance and prosperity through compliance with God’s ordinances. Beloved, when you obey God’s instructions, you will surely enjoy the good of the land at your disposal, it is a divine promise to you. Do well to obey your Maker, that you may enjoy the good of the land.
Nevertheless, our today’s text declares, “through obedience, Jesus was given the highest name.” Do know that, God will change your level, take you higher and make you one to reckon with as long as you keep to God’s covenant over your life.
Dear friend in summation, are you finding it difficult to obey God’s words? Call on God today. And may grace abound for you in Jesus name. Don’t forget, obedience is paramount in getting you to your destination in life. It gives room for direction, discipline, prosperity, influence and exaltation in life. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Through God’s grace, I will be willing to obey God. And I will eat the good of the land.

PRAYER POINT:
Father Lord, in You I am complete. Help me Lord, to be willing at all times to keep all Your instructions for my life. Above all, according to Your word, give me the grace to eat the good of the land in Jesus name. Amen.

The Power Of Obedience. II.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

DATE:
Thursday, June 10, 2021.

THEME:
The Power Of Obedience. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.”
Hebrews 5:8.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Hebrews 5:9-10.
“And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Called of God a high priest after the order of Melchisedec.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The opening of this series opined the fact that obedience has the power to strengthen trust and confidence in the capacity of the followers. When a man obeys sin, he will die, but if he or she submitted to righteousness, he will not die but live. Dear friend, who you obey has the power to rule you.
Meanwhile, many will say obedience is a choice, but let us not forget that in making such choices, we must consider the outcome of such decisions. And to whom you submit, you will observe his bidding. Obedience brings about promotion, through obedience Jesus was called to the office of a high priest. (Hebrew 5:10)
Also, our today’s text affirmed that as Christians, obedience to God’s word and instructions brings about perfection and fulfilment of destiny and ordination in Christ Jesus.
In conclusion, to constitute obedience, the act or forbearance to act must be in submission to authority the command must be known to the person, and his compliance must be in consequence of it. Let it be to promotion and perfection of glory. Shalom!

God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will not disobey God’s order for my life. I will keep trusting in God’s word.

PRAYER POINT:
Father Lord, help me to focus on obeying your word at all times. That I may be made perfect, promoted and fulfil my destiny and ordination in life in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
The Narrow Way Team.
