The Challenges Of The Anointed. I.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

DATE:
Saturday, July 11, 2020.

THEME:
The Challenges Of The Anointed. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.”
Acts 16:17.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Acts 16:23-24.
“And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely: Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The truth remains that the anointed is empowered for service. Although one will feel that the grace, will not come with challenges, but the truth is that, no matter how anointed you are, you must drink from the cup allotted for that level of anointing.
Meanwhile, as we have in our memory verse, an evil spirit even acknowledge God’s grace upon Paul and Silas, and could speak of their mission in the city of Thyatira. Beloved, when you are empowered by grace, the forces around will acknowledge that you are not ordinary. Do know that your experience is not for fun, but to serve a purpose.
However, as anointed as Paul and Silas were, they could not escape humiliation, beating, chains and imprisonment. Don’t forget that at the end, all things will work together for your good. (Romans 8:28) And to the glory of God, that challenge launch them into another open door for souls.
In conclusion, what you need is to ask God for grace to be able to withstand the ministerial challenges as they come your way, to the glory of God and for the salvation of souls. In all, we must be respectful, as we hold on to Jesus. Surely, he is the only one to save and help us in tackling whatever challenges, anointing may bring along.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I receive grace, not faint in the face of life’s challenges.

PRAYER POINT:
Father of all Glory and Grace. Help me Lord, to fulfill my purpose in Christ Jesus. And whatever I need to do for the salvation of souls around me, may I cooperate with you in doing it in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

Marriage As God Ordained Institution. IV.

MEMORY VERSE:
“So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.”
Ephesians 5:28.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Ephesians 5:21-22.
“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we discussed about the blessedness of marriage. That, there is dignity in being faithful to your spouse. And God bless immensely a marriage that is pure, strong and which raise godly seeds, but vows breakers will not go unpunished before God.
Meanwhile, the opening of our today’s text speak of submission to one another in the fear of God. This infer that, you must welcome and respect your spouse opinion and decision in your marriage in honour to God. Therefore, wife must honour her husband by submission in all things, especially when there is conflict of interest. Dear wife, do you totally submit to your husband? If not, turn a new person today.
Furthermore, husband is to love his wife as his own body, for failure to do this, often lead to infidelity in marriage and eventual breakdown of the family. Husband, do you love your wife unconditionally, as Jesus did for the church? So, as the husband loves the wife as himself, wife should submit to the husband’s authority and decision.
In conclusion, marriage is to live in love and harmony. While child bearing and training are God’s given tasks and duties to couples. The truth is that, we are only caretakers of whatever God releases into our bosoms. Therefore, we must train our children to be useful to God and humanity at large.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will love my spouse unconditionally. And I will welcome and respect my spouse decision.

PRAYER POINT:
Father in Heaven, You are the source of Love and harmony. Please Lord, let marriages all over the world, experience newness of love and harmony in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

Marriage As God Ordained Institution. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.”
Genesis 2:18.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Genesis 2:24-25.
“Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Simply put, marriage is the coming together of a man and his wife to live as one, until death separate them. Peaceful and godly marriage, is as a result of good relationship with Christ in one’s family. And love is the basis of marriage, and let’s not forget that God is love.
Humanly speaking, there are types of love: Agape, Filial and Erotic. Agape is divine, Filial is conventional and Erotic is emotional love. Therefore, marriage must be based on true love, be it divine, conventional and erotic, for it’s meant to serve it’s purpose.
Furthermore, our today’s text speaks of marriage as perfect union of purpose between a man and a woman without a third party. And it is important to note that, there is no shame in marriage, as God ordain it.
Finally beloved, are you married? Or are you contemplating marriage soonest? Do know that the most important reason, while man and woman come together is not basically for child bearing but for companionship.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
My marriage will forever be blessed. I will not miss divine purpose for my marriage.

PRAYER POINT:
Father in heaven, You originate marriage for companionship and blessings. Please Lord, let all marriages facing difficulties receive divine intervention now in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

THEME:
Christian Leadership And Administration. III.

MEMORY VERSE:
“But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.”
1 Corinthians 12:11.

TODAY’S TEXT:
1 Corinthians 12:4-6.
“Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we lay emphasis on feeding the flock, overseeing the affairs of God’s elects and the will to serve God for the salvation of mankind as part of Christian leader’s input to the kingdom of God.
Nevertheless, the diversities of gifts; be it administration, operation and the likes come from the same spirit, to beautify and uniquely keep the body of Christ as one, for the advancement of God’s kingdom.
Furthermore, in order for a Christian leader to maximize results, the leadership must prioritize: waiting on God in prayers, adequate planning, sincerity with plans, being yourself-don’t imitate and embracing division of labour, that all the gifts, may function according to the dictates of the giver; God.
In conclusion, in order for Christian leadership and administration to go seamlessly, we must not put “a round peg in a sphere hole,” putting a wrong person in leadership, will result to bad administration. Genuine service is one key that the Christian leadership and administration requires to perform maximally.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will diligently work, while it is day. And my service, will not be in vain.

PRAYER POINT:
Father of all grace and mercy, please make me daily fit for Your work. Oh Lord, give me grace to faithfully serve You with as many people, You send my way in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

THEME:
Christian Leadership And Administration. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.”
Luke 22:26.

TODAY’S TEXT:
2 Corinthians 9:12-13.
“For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God; Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection into the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Leadership is the capacity of someone to lead, while administration is the act of tendering something to another. A Christian leader without administrative charisma will be inefficient and ineffective as a leader. Therefore, a Christian leader must be an administrator and a teacher.
Meanwhile, our today’s text speak of administration as not only service to the saints, but of expression of gratitude to God. Beloved, don’t forget the need for loyalty, generosity, obedience to God’s command and hopeful about future positive results.
Moreover, in our memory verse, Jesus declared that there should be a clear distinction between worldly administration and Christian administration. That, *”he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.”* Genuine service is the key to effective administration.
In conclusion, the truth remain that, administration is a gift from God and it is for managing the available resources to achieve expected good or catering for resources release by God through the Holy Spirit. Are you a Christian leader? Do know that, a Christian leader must always be ready to correct with love.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Just like Jesus, I am call to serve, and not to be served.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, give me grace to stand at my duty post always. And help me Lord, to serve with loyalty, honesty and in obedience to your commandments all the days of my life in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
