Another Reason Jesus Came. III.

MEMORY VERSE:
“To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn.”
Isaiah 61:2.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Luke 4:18-19.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we observed that Jesus appear to cure our ignorance by bringing us to the knowledge of the Truth; Himself. He also appear to destroy the works of the devil. He abolished death through His death on Calvary and giving us light to shine in this world.
Meanwhile, our memory verse, which is from the prophecy of Isaiah partly speak concerning Jesus mandate on Earth, as proclamation of God’s season of reconciliation with mankind. A time of justice for the oppressed and to wipe away sorrowful tears.
More so, Jesus confirmed in our today’s text, that He appear in order to heal the sick, the sorrowful, to set the captives at liberty, to bring restoration of sight to the blind; (Physically or Spiritually). Do know that, irrespective of your calamity or infirmity, Jesus is able to carry away from you
Finally beloved, your relationship with Jesus is of great importance and your presence in Him is a blessing to the world. You are so peculiar to the plan of God, and the blessings of Jesus appearance will continue to be for you and your household in Jesus name. Amen.

PRAYER POINT:
Dear Father, you are faithful, despite my unfaithfulness. Help me Lord, to remain steadfast in righteousness and not to forsake your many blessings in my life in Jesus name. Amen.
