THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST.
DATE: Monday, January 28, 2019.
THEME: THE GIFT AND THE CALLING OF GOD.
MEMORY VERSE:
“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”
Romans 11:29.
TODAY’S TEXT:
Romans 11:30-33.
“For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!”
TODAY’S MESSAGE:
We often have the believe that, the gift and calling of God is by our doing, choice or sufficiency.
Meanwhile, our today’s text reminded us that, in the time past, when we do not believe in God, yet we obtained mercy. It is in our unbelief, that God magnanimously show us mercy, and bestowed upon us HIS gift and calling.
Nevertheless, one will wondered, the possibility of God’s calling and giving, while we were sinner. When God give you a gift or call a man to HIS vineyard, and the man failed in his responsibility, God will not remove the gift and calling of such man, but will God later require from him, his achievements from grace released.
Furthermore, Let us know that God’s mercy endures forever. (Psalm we 136:1) The fact that you still exercise a gift or grace, does not mean that you are still connected to the giver of the gift or grace at hand. Therefore it is always better that you and I, check ourselves to know where we stand with God.
Finally, do know that Samson backslided the moment he refused or go against his parents counsel, although he was able to do great things, but gradually he faded away before his time. May you not misuse God’s gifts or grace upon your life in Jesus name. Amen.
God bless you. Jesus is coming very soon. Be prepared.
DAILY CONFESSION:

PRAYER POINT:
Father, your gifts and calling, are without repentance. Help me, to be conscious of my relationship with you and with my neighbors in Jesus name. Amen.
