“While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.”

Every journey has it starting point, although the end to each differs. In life, there are numerous journey one has to make, in order to be fulfilled. And these journeys varies for an individual, for some it is short, some moderate and others may have it lengthy.
Meanwhile as Christians, our journey here is determined by our commander; Jesus Christ. And the good news is that Jesus Christ; our commander, is the coming king.
Our today’s text reveals that, “While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.” A king is a man of many parts, a man that requires the attention of every sector of his kingdom. He was on his timeline and not with individuals timetable. And whoever that requires his attention, must be ready to pay the price.
Furthermore, the King Himself expressly declared to you and I saying: “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” (Revelation 22:12-13.)
In conclusion, the king when He comes, will be standing by, awaiting your invitation to come in or not. Wellbeloved, let’s kindly examine ourselves, in line with the coming of our Lord, saviour and king. The question is, When I died or He comes today, will I meet with Him? May you and I, not miss His coming in Jesus name. Amen.

Thou Anoints My Head.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST.

DATE: Thursday, April 25, 2019.

THEME: Thou Anoints My Head.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.”
Psalms 23:5.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Psalms 133:2-3
“It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
David said, “Thou anoints my head with oil, and my cup runs overflow.” The truth is that, David experienced dryness at the tender age, while he was nurturing his father’s flock. His wilderness experience exposed him to many dangers and he was able to note, the importance of freshness and refreshing season please. The fatigue of tendering livestock in a dusty, windy environment and dangerous wilderness, full of wild animals.
Notwithstanding, Anointing is the impartation of grace and gifts, flowing from the head, to the toes. Mostly, for supernatural abilities by God.
More so, the Psalmist says: “O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, *thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.”* (Psalms 140:7) Invariably, anointing serves as a covering in the day of battle. This was David’s testimonial against the Lion and the Bear attack.
Furthermore, as anointing guarantee sure protection from God against the enemies. In it God commands His blessings. A declaration made by God concerning you and I saying: _”Touch not my anointed, and do my prophet no harm.”_(Psalm 105:15) To be anointed is to be set apart for a special assignment. It is to be endowed with virtues, opportunities, and an elevation to a higher office or position.
Conclusively, when the anointing on David’s head manifested, he moved sporadically into greater glory and fulfilled destiny. You and I need to call on God, daily to anoint our heads for greatness, once it is done, you are unstoppable. This day, may you be anointed for greatness in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Thou O Lord, anoint my head for greatness.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, please let me not run out of fresh oil. Anoints my head with grace and favour that will propelled me into greatness and destiny in Jesus name. Amen.

Vision preempts success that is borne out of revelation or conception. Yesterday, we considered Habakkuk’s determination to watch and get set, moreover his preparedness for the vision of great time to come.
However, our desire to be the best, we want to be, is of no doubt that we believe greatly in ourselves. Knowing that, _”if we can think it, we can achieve it.”_
Meanwhile, at a time pass, Jacob after learning of Joseph’s demise, would have wished that the hands of time, could be turned back, and him seeing Joseph again, hale and hearty in his arms. Beloved, there is hope, you just keep hope alive, you can never tell, what surprise God has in-store for you.
Furthermore, in our today’s text, God reiterates his plans to make Jacob, a great nation, even in a strange land. Dear friend, what is that good vision of yours concerning your life, your family, your community and the church of God? Beloved in Christ, be determined to key into it, till it comes to pass.

“I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The last part of this series, dwelled on the divine purpose concerning vision. We highlighted two of this purposes: They are directional purpose; basically to give directive on the way to go, at any given time and charge purpose; which is to admonished and encourage the beloved not to relent, but to continue the good work.
However, our today’s text reveals prophet Habakkuk’s determination to watch and get set for what God is set to do. And how to key into God’s instructions.
Nevertheless, God informed him to take good note of the already given divine revelations. For its manifestation, is for a set time. A time allotted for its fulfillment and realisation.
Furthermore, although it may seem eternity to be realised, just wait for it. It will surely come to pass, wait patiently for it. God will not lie and that He had promised to do, He will do at the appointed time.
In conclusion, our memory verse expressly stated the mind of God. Saying: “In the midst of the people of God, there will be no vain vision. A vain vision, is that vision, that has no purpose, a vision that has no positive impact, and it is not from God. May God bless you with a purposeful vision this season in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I have a purposeful vision with a set time to manifest.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, you are the God of purpose. Help me Lord, to wait patiently for my purposeful God-given vision to manifest in Jesus name. Amen.
