    THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

    DATE:
    Tuesday, March 3, 2020.

    THEME:
    Vacancy. II.

    MEMORY VERSE:
“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.”
    John 9:4.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    John 4:35.
“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
We opened this topic with explanation of what is vacancy. That, it is the availability of an empty space or post to be occupied. And for us as Christians, as we are called into God business of souls winning, we are implored to invite others too, for the work is larger than the available workforce.
Meanwhile, our today’s text admonished us of the urgency that this job demands, it is to startup immediately and not to procrastinate or wait for one particular period of time, before taking responsibility or resuming our duties. Our preparedness is very important, just like taking up a secular job, one must have prepared and ready, to take up the appointment.
Beloved, God created you, saved you and placed you here for a purpose, you are not here by accident. You are on assignment, you are on a mission to fill up a vacancy, in order to fulfill God’s eternal purpose here on Earth. You are a partaker of the new things God is orchestrating, don’t be left out, ensure you put in your quota, while it is day.
Finally, in the scheme of things, don’t be a spectator, rather be a participant. Be actively involved in the works of the Father. For when night comes, no work will be done. May you receive grace to take up the vacancy effectively and immediately in Jesus name. Amen.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
    *Jesus is coming very soon.*
    Be prepared.

    DAILY CONFESSION:
I will no longer procrastinates or put off my duty in the Lord’s vineyard.

    PRAYER POINT:
Father, you are truth to your word. Oh Lord, grant me grace to see, what you want me to see. And release for me, the enablement to take my duties in your vineyard serious in Jesus name. Amen.

    Yours in Christ,

“Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.”
    Matthew 9:37.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    Luke 10:1-2.
“After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come. Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Vacancy simply connotes availability of an empty space to be occupied. It is an opening, a vacuum or absence of something needed or tangible. Well, a stroll through the city or town, you will see various billboards, posters and fliers with inscriptions such as vacancy, job opportunity, workers needed and so on with full details on how to apply and what the job entails.
So much more, that our today’s text expressly declared that God is still in the business of souls winning. And there is an urgent need to send people to every city and places, for the harvest of souls. For great is the harvest and the harvesters are few. Dear friend, wouldn’t you rather join today for a great harvest in the Lord’s vineyard and do know that great is your renumeration or reward with God.
More so, are you already an harvesters? Please pray today, that the Lord of the harvest, should send more workers to His vineyard. That more land may be covered in no distance time.
In conclusion, beloved in Christ, let’s spread this vacancy abroad, starting with the man and the woman around us, telling them of the great opportunity available in the job. For the Lord of harvest says in Revelation 22:12, “And, behold, I come quickly; and *my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.* May you not miss your reward in Jesus name. Amen.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
    *Jesus is coming very soon.*
    Be prepared.

    DAILY CONFESSION:
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
    John 9:4.

    PRAYER POINT:
Father, count me in the number of the genuine harvesters in your vineyard. And Lord, when you come with your reward, may I not miss my reward portion in Jesus name. Amen.

  • Discover To recover

    THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

    DATE:
    Saturday, February 29, 2020.

    THEME:
    Discover To Recover.

    MEMORY VERSE:
And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!”
    Luke 15:17.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    Luke 15:18, 22-24.
“I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
There is a popular saying that state that, “It is until when you lose something and you have a need for it, in it absence that you will really appreciate the value of what was lost. That is, you may not appreciate what you have, until when you don’t have it again. And it is when you discover that it is gone, you will have to make frantic effort to recover that which was lost.
Child of God, just like the younger son, who left the atmosphere of goodwill and godly counsel, for a selfish and corrupt environment. After a while, he knew no peace, no friends, no food, no shelter, he became a destitute and until he discovered that he could not be that hard in his father’s house, that he recover himself.
Beloved, as you consciously observe the situation around you, do know that better days lays ahead. And you will discovered that God is just starting with you, for He is God of second chance.
Finally, while not retrace your steps back to God, it will not be bad for you in Christ Jesus. Why not genuinely seek his face, for reconciliation today? And just like the loving father that He is, God will do much more than your expectations and you will recover all in Jesus name. Amen.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
    *Jesus is coming very soon.*
    Be prepared.

    DAILY CONFESSION:
I will receive mercy in the place of judgement. I will not loose my inheritance in Christ Jesus.

    PRAYER POINT:
Faithful and loving father, in your mercy, as I call on You, show me Your mercy. And please Lord, help me to discover my lost ground and grant me grace, to recover all in Jesus name. Amen.

    Yours in Christ,
    B. J. Folorunsho.

    Job 14:14-15.
“If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
What is an appointed time? How do I wait for my appointed time? An appointed time is that set time, God has scheduled to visit your life specially. I believe every creature awaits this special moment in their lives, to say the fact, you do await it’s manifestation too?
Meanwhile, it is a different in heavenly and earthly time frame, that makes you and I to ponder, as we wait for this glorious season. Also, our need is often different from our want, it is not what we need, that we want or ask from God. Most times, we ask of our wants, instead of our needs.
However, while awaiting this splendid period of time, there is lot we can engage in, as we await our appointed time. You and I must ensure that, we know what we need and not our wants, also what to do, in order to get our needs realised.
Finally, our today’s text expressly declared the promise of God saying: “Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.” May God speedily bring to pass, your appointed time in Jesus name. Amen.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.

I will have the desire of my heart. My appointed time, will no longer be delayed.

Father, you are the all knowing God, give me the grace not to be weary in waiting for my appointed time in Jesus name. Amen.
