“Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we looked at principalities and powers, having been the spiritual beings that operates with satanic authority, against believers and how they were judged. While today, we will be looking at their activities, which is causing affliction through Infirmities to the elects.
Meanwhile, the whole of this series; Defeated Enemies, expose us to believers gains in the redemptive work on calvary. With those forces that our Lord and savior contended with for our sake’s, the divine mechanisms employed and not forgetting the various agonizing pains and mockery, Jesus endured for our salvation, taking our Infirmities upon His body and by whose wounds we are healed.
More so, our memory verse, assured us saying, *”He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.”* Beloved, this is the pointer that, God will completely put an end to affliction and whatever that comes with it, in the lives of His people. Hold firm, this assurance in Christ Jesus, and you will be glad.
Finally, the scripture records in Exodus 3:17 saying: _”And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction… unto a land flowing with milk and honey.”_ The good news is that, God did not only defeated afflictions and Infirmities, He also brings us to the land flowing with grace, blessings and divine riches, a perfect place of abode, a Heaven on Earth. May you experience this now and always in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.

Defeated Enemies: Principalities And Powers.

MEMORY VERSE:
“And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.”
Colossians 2:15.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Colossians 2:13-14.
“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we considered sins and sorrow as two in one entity that steal our joy of salvation. We also saw salvation from sins and sorrow as the main mission of our Lord Jesus Christ. These enemies were defeated, as they were not exempted from divine judgement on Calvary.
Nonetheless, Principalities and powers are spiritual being, with satanic authority or evil that reign in the spiritual realm against spiritual and physical advancement of the beloved of God. It is good to note that powers and Principalities are also judged for yours and my sake at Calvary.
Meanwhile, our today’s text admonished us to remain dead to sins, after our trespasses are forgiven. For all the handwriting of ordinances from principalities and powers, that was against us, which was contrary to us, Jesus took them out of the way. Dear friend, do know that, powers and principalities are acquitted through our disobedience to God’s commandments.
In conclusion beloved in Christ Jesus, powers and principalities were not only defeated by Jesus for your sake, they were openly revealed and rebuked. Awareness of their operations with authority to subdue them is made available for the believers. “In Jesus name, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess Him to be the Lord.” Hallelujah! Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will tread upon snakes and scorpion, by no means, will I be hurt.

PRAYER POINT:
Almighty Father, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Please Lord, give me the grace to remain in You and never to loose my place and authority in Christ Jesus in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

The Defeated Enemies: Sins And Sorrows.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.”
Isaiah 53:4.

TODAY’S TEXT:
John 16:20
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we considered death as one of the enemies defeated, through the sacrifice on the cross of Calvary. The agony of the physical death and pang of eternal condemnation or spiritual death, is out of the way, for as many that cling to the salvation won for them on the cross of Calvary.
Nevertheless, our today’s text thus remind us that, At a time, due to life’s trials and temptation, sorrow may come with weeping and Lamentations. Let’s not forget also that, disobedience to God can lead to sorrow too. As long as you repent and you don’t lose focus again, the end will be full of joy.
Furthermore, in fulfillment of the prophecy that heralded His birth, *”…and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”* (Matthew 1:21.) Jesus took our sins and nailed it on the cross, He saved us from the power of sin and sorrow. And reconciled us with the Father in heaven. A mission fulfilled through God’s love, in order eradicate sins and sorrows in believers life.
In conclusion, Proverbs 10:22 says; _”The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”_ When God decides to release His blessings on His people, it is always perfect and everlasting. It is without pain or sorrow attach to it. When He blesses His children, an end surely come to weeping and Lamentation.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.

Be prepared.

PRAYER POINT:
Merciful Father, in your mercy and love, uphold me not to fall into the power of sin. And please Lord, turn all my sorrows to joy and let me laugh over my enemies in Jesus name. Amen

Spiritual Depression: Dashed Hope.

THEME:
Spiritual Depression: Dashed Hope.

MEMORY VERSE:
“And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.”
Matthew 20:21.

TODAY’S TEXT:
John 21:2-3.
“…Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples. Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we saw there are times, God allow His faithful children to be tested. In order to prove their loyalty and respect for Him, even in the midst of heavy and severe temptations. Which is big enough to derail any carefree believer and the pressure from family and friends cannot be overemphasized.
Nevertheless, it is possible for one to be discouraged and depressed. For when what one hoped for, is shattered or unrealistic. May your hope, not be dashed in Jesus name. Amen. And our today’s text thus speak of Peter saying, *”I go fishing,”* and other fishermen disciples with him followed him, after the death of Jesus. At this point their hope was dashed, their expectations was shattered.
More so, the request of James and John’s mother is the pointer to the fact that, they were expectant, they hope for a great reward. And that, Jesus is to bring about political revolution in Israel of their time, a share of which, they hoped for.
Eventually, their hope of political gain was dashed. At a point, Peter declared that he is going back into fishing. And through the night of labour, they caught nothing. Another disappointment with failed hope. But thank God for Jesus’s intervention, hence, they would have lost out totally. May you not loose your integrity and labour in Christ Jesus in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Through the help of God, my hope will not dashed, neither will my faith waiver.

PRAYER POINT:
Dependable Father, help me Lord, to always trust in you. And as I trust in you, may I not miss my divine moment of restoration and intervention in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
