    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
It is no longer news, that we are at war. That we are daily engaged in life’s battles confronting us as individual or groups. And let’s not forget that, the Devil and his cohorts rages on with different machinations, strategies, formulas, viruses, civilities and many more to suppress mankind relationship with his Maker.
Meanwhile, as you continue to resist the devil’s temptations and wiles, you defeat him in life’s battle. Through your resistance, you overcome an antagonist in contest, you gain superiority in war or combat against your soul. Beloved in Christ Jesus, victory means that, the power of an enemy or an antagonist to prove inferior to that of the victor.
Furthermore, Victory depends not always on superior skill or valor it is often gained by the fault or mistake of the vanquished. Through Jesus, believers has advantage or superiority gained over spiritual enemies, over passions and appetites, or over temptations, or in any struggle or competition.
In conclusion, the scripture says; “Thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory, through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:57) All thanks be to God, for your victory and mine victory is guaranteed through Jesus Christ. As we stand with Jesus in righteousness, we are more than conquerors and and our victory is sustained. And those outside Jesus should come to him today, for all that come to Jesus Christ is Victorious. May you not loose your victory in Christ Jesus in Jesus name. Amen.

  • Resist The Devil.

    THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

    DATE:
    Wednesday, April 22, 2020.

    THEME:
    Resist The Devil.

    MEMORY VERSE:
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
    James 4:7.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    Matthew 4:10-11.
“Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the Christian theology, Devil is an evil spirit or a fallen angel, expelled from heaven for rebellion against God. He is the chief of the fallen angels, the adamant enemy and tempter of the human race. Humanly, we say, a very wicked person, a great evil.
Meanwhile, the devil is in the business of enticement, bringing up temptations or issues against you and I. Mostly, Satan use what we desire or want to incites us to evil. Satan makes sin to look interesting, alluring and harmless to a carefree Christian. The more reason the scripture says: *Abstain from all appearance of evil.* 1 Thessalonians 5:22.
Furthermore, the book of Matthew 4:1-11 present us the various temptations, the Devil gave Jesus, in order to derail Him. And just like Jesus, we must counter his efforts with adequate knowledge of the word of God. You must keep him far away from your vicinity, hence he will want to dominate you.
In conclusion, Proverbs 11:5 admonish us thus: *”The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.”* Do know that, the battle of your life is between God and Satan. And when you resist the devil, it shall be counted for as righteousness and God will order your step accordingly. When you yield your life to God, he takes charge and reigns in you. May you receive grace to resist the devil at all times in Jesus name. Amen.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
    *Jesus is coming very soon.*
    Be prepared.

    DAILY CONFESSION:
I receive grace to resist the devil. I will not be a slave to sin and Satan.

    PRAYER POINT:
Gracious and Almighty Father, in You alone is my destiny and life fulfilled. Help me Lord, to always resist the devil’s temptations and wiles against my life in Jesus name. Amen.

    Yours in Christ,
    B. J. Folorunsho.

  • Living For God: Daniel’s Example. IV.

    THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

    DATE:
    Tuesday, April 21, 2020.

    THEME:
Living For God: Daniel’s Example. IV.

    MEMORY VERSE:
“Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.”
    Daniel 6:16.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    Daniel 6:10.
“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we saw testimony of great things or some wonder gifts and achievements of Daniel, through his commitment to live and serve the living God. The testimony that goes before him, is evidence of God’s faithfulness. Although, the enemies succeeded in throwing him into Lion’s den.
The question is, when Daniel gets thrown in the lion’s den, what is he really going to do? He would do, what he always do regardless of the situation. Even if deliverance did not come, Daniel was going to faithfully serve God. We have all heard it said that we can’t choose our circumstance but we can choose what we are going to do in the midst of them.
Nevertheless, have you ever said or maybe heard someone else say, “Lord, if you get me out of this jungle, I promise you, I will serve you.” We all know that is not how it works. We must do as Daniel did and make consistent daily choices to serve God regardless of the ups and downs.
Finally beloved in Christ, Life isn’t always like the movies, exciting and adventurous. Lots of times, it is simply mundane and routine and it is during these times, when how we choose to live matters. May you not lose focus on God, when the going get tougher in Jesus name. Amen.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
    *Jesus is coming very soon.*
    Be prepared.

    DAILY CONFESSION:
No matter what may happen. By grace, I will stand firm in Christ Jesus.

    PRAYER POINT:
Faithful Father, it is in You, I am complete. And I can do all things, through Christ who strengthens me. Help me Lord, to forever live my life in You and for You in Jesus name. Amen.

    Yours in Christ,
    Asaba Demilade Richard.

Living For God: Daniel’s Example. II.

    MEMORY VERSE:
“…because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in thee, and no secret troubleth thee, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.”
    Daniel 4:9.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    Daniel 4:5-6.
“I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we saw young Daniel’s zeal and commitment to God. A decision to stand and live for God alone. This alone, brought him favour, respect, wisdom, love, knowing dreams, interpretation of dreams and good position in a strange land.
Meanwhile, the whole of Daniel chapter four, present us with Daniel’s dimensional growth from a wise young man, to someone who can tell of what people dreamed at night and the interpretation of such dreams.
Furthermore, the Herculean task given to all the wise men of the kingdom to solve, through divine grace, Daniel was able to tell of the king’s dream, hence, they all die. Beloved, when you are committed to God’s will, be sure that you will not perish with the enemies. For God will make a way out, for you and all yours.
Finally dear friend, how is your relationship with God, your Maker? Are you determine to stand with God? To speak and deliver His message without fear or favour? Because, when you do, God will always be there for you and you will not remain the same. May you receive grace to grow in all areas of life in Jesus name. Amen.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
    *Jesus is coming very soon.*
    Be prepared.

    DAILY CONFESSION:
For I know that the spirit of the Holy God is in me, and no secret will trouble me.

    PRAYER POINT:
Father in heaven, you made your ministers, flame of fire. Oh Lord, take not your Holy spirit from me, but make me a flame of fire, that will continue to burn for you in Jesus name. Amen.

    Yours in Christ,
    B. J. Folorunsho.

Nevertheless, the Queen went further to announce that, *”… shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel.”* This connotes that no puzzle can destabilize him, he has answer for all of his contemporaries troubles. May the good Lord, make you a solution provider, wherever you find yourself in Jesus name. Amen.
Finally, although you may be little or poor, but when you live for God, you can boldly stand by Kings and any Royal court of nations. _”For greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.”_ Dear friend, as you determined to live for God, do know that through grace, great testimonies shall always go before you, to announce your God.
