“And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.”
Genesis 1:5.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Isaiah 45:7.
“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we considered the righteous and the sinner, the kind of past and future available for these two class of People. And that a repented sinner, although coming out of a wayward life, has a better future awaiting, while a backslider, while only remember a better past.
Nevertheless, the truth remains that a saint today, had a bitter pass, while a sinner today has a better future. That’s a saint, has a pass, while there is still a future, for a repented sinner. The choice is yours, for we all have stories to tell, either of the past, present or in the future.
Meanwhile, our memory verse affirms the fact that the Creator at the creation, gives room for alternatives in order to allow freedom to choose personal choice in life’s matter. The freewill that propelled innate ability and personal choice to function ultimately and freely.
Finally, God in our today’s text expressly declared thus: *”I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil.”* While in His Word sent to the elects, God encourage us to make the right choice and not the wrong alternative. May God’s grace be sufficient for you to always make the best of choice to the glory of God in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will not lose my better alternative. I will hold on to the good and not the bad.

PRAYER POINT:
Father of all Creation, You created all things for Your pleasure, I say to You be Honor, Power and Glory. Oh Lord, may I not lose the grace to always make good and right choice in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

To every coin, there is always two sides. And to every case story, you need to hear the two sides in order to ascertain the truth of the matter. And as Christ’ followers, we are no longer in the darkness of this world, we are in the light of Christ through the election of grace.

Dear friend, if you are living a reckless, wayward or gruesome kind of life, know today, for the truth is that, *”There is a better alternative life awaiting you in Christ Jesus.”*
Furthermore, if you are living a sweet, focused and flourishing life, don’t forget the one that makes it possible, the Almighty. For if you do, *”There is a gloomy, backward and disastrous life awaiting backsliders.”*
In conclusion, there is always a better future for a repented sinner, an eternal glory and honor. Unfortunately, a better past can a backslide believer remembers. May you not miss the right choice of light and salvation through Jesus Christ in Jesus name. Amen.

Jesus Died, For You And Me.

THEME:
Jesus Died, For You And Me.

MEMORY VERSE:
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.”
1 Peter 3:18.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Isaiah 53:5-6.
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
A song writer once say in a song: *”I am so glad that Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me, Jesus loves even me…”* This is from a grateful heart, who considered his/her unworthiness of this special love of God. To God be the glory, for the scripture says; _”…but love covereth all sins.”_(Proverb 10:12) Indeed, love is so powerful to erase all wrongdoings and to bring newness to our individual and collective relationship with Him.
Meanwhile, our memory verse expressly reveal that, through the Love of God, Jesus once and for all, suffered and died for our sins, that He might bring us back God’s original plan and glory.
However, our today’s text pictured in sequence, the steps taking or passages Jesus passed through in purchasing our redemption from Satan’s grip. Beloved, do recall that, Jesus was wounded, bruised and eventually died, not because of any sin of His, but for your sins and my sins. He chose to died for us, even in our unrighteousness.
In conclusion, Jesus love for mankind compelled Him to die for you and I. It will be good and kind of us, not to take His death for granted. Therefore, we must daily desist from anything that contradict His plan and purpose for our lives. May Jesus death on the Cross of Calvary, not be in vain in your life in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Jesus died for me. In return, I will live for Him all the days of my life.

PRAYER POINT:
Merciful and Loving Father, you do not neglect us even in our sinfulness. Oh Lord, grant me the grace to remain faithful and thankful for all Your many blessings and love over my life in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

Take Your Cross And Follow Me. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.”
1 Peter 3:18.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Mark 8:37-38.
“Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we saw that in order to carry our cross and follow Jesus, it is pertinent that, we deny ourselves many unnecessary things that could make the Cross unbearable and tiresome while following. We must do away with self gratification, we must do well to completely submit ourselves to Jesus Lordship over lives and most importantly, we must continually and day by day carry our cross.
Meanwhile, to carry our cross and follow Jesus must be with joy and we must not be ashamed of Jesus’ Cross. Jesus said,” _Whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words…of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed…”_ (Mark 8:38) Beloved, carrying and following Jesus bring you to the place, where you will be ready to receive the gifts and the grace of God.”
Furthermore, you need to obey him in all things. The truth of the matter is, Christianity is all about living like Jesus, keeping God’s instruction and trusting Him for grace and the power to do His will without looking back.
In conclusion, you must keep denying flesh or self, by taking up your cross and following Jesus step everyday, for in doing this, you and I will be partaker of the king’s business in God’s kingdom. May you not loose focus, as you daily carry your cross in righteousness in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will be focus and ready at all times, for the Master’s use.

PRAYER POINT:
Father in heaven, you have given us the greatest gift of Your son, Jesus Christ. Help me Lord with Grace, to carry my Cross and follow You day by day in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

Take Your Cross And Follow Me. I.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

DATE:

THEME:
Take Your Cross And Follow Me. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”
Mark 8:36.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Mark 8:34-35 .
“…Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Today, Jesus Christ reminds you and I what we need to do in order to be a true follower of him. Don’t forget that, the only way to the kingdom of God is through Jesus, and for a man to be a partaker of the kingdom of God, all the necessary steps must be taken. *”If any man will follow me, he must deny himself.”*
Nevertheless, the word *”Deny”* means to _”Disavow any connection with something else, to state that you are not connected in any way with whatever is in view.”_ Denying self means that, we repudiate our natural feelings about ourselves, i.e., our right to ourselves, our right to run our own lives. We are to deny that we own ourselves.
More so, it connotes that, we do not have the final right to decide what we are going to do, or where we are going to go per time. Beloved, If you are going to follow Jesus Christ, you no longer own yourself. He has ultimate rights; He has the Lordship of your life. So you no longer, need to worry yourself; He makes those final decisions concerning you.
In conclusion, the next thing is carrying your cross daily, the word Cross, does not mean things like sickness, trial or hardship alone, as many people would use the phrase *”That’s my Cross.”* The Cross stands forever as a symbol of those circumstances and events, our experience which humble us, expose us, offend our pride. Things that shape you into whom God wants you to be. You need to accept it, cling to it and glory in it. May you receive strength to take up your cross daily and follow Jesus without looking back in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Dear Lord, thank You for all You have done and all that You will do for me.

PRAYER POINT:
Most Gracious Father, I worship you today. Oh Lord, I pray that You will give me, the strength and the zeal to daily follow You and obey all Your instructions in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
Salako I. Eunice.
