THEME:
Be Compassionate. III.

MEMORY VERSE:
“The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.”
Psalms 145:8.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Matthew 18:27-28.
“Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt. But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, God called our attention to a group of people, that He; God has special care of; they are the fatherless, the stranger, the widow and the poor. And that we are not to imagine evil against anybody, no matter what.
Meanwhile, our today’s text present us with a story of a compassionate master, whose servant owe ten thousand talent, which he cancelled and set him free. But unfortunately, this same servant could not forgive another servant owing him a hundred pence.
Let’s do a simple arithmetic, ten thousand talent compare with hundred pence. An ancient calculation says: 1 Talent is equal to 996 Sterling and that 1 Sterling is equal to 12 Pence. Going by that calculation, what the fellow servant owe him, was less than 5 talents, while 10,000 talents was cancelled for him.
In conclusion, every sin is a debt to God. Heaven keeps records and the debt of sin is a very great debt, let’s not forget that some are more in debt than the others. We cannot pay the debt of sin, we can only acknowledge it before God and God will forgive us, as we forgive others.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

PRAYER POINT:
Merciful and ever compassionate Father, I know, I cannot pay my debt of sin, help me to forgive others their debt against me. And give me grace to live for you all the days of my life in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

TODAY’S MESSAGE:

Power In Your Word. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Samuel 31:2
And the Philistines followed hard upon Saul and upon his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Melchishua, Saul’s sons.

TODAY’S TEXT:
1 Samuel 14:39.
“For, as the LORD liveth, which saveth Israel, though it be in Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. But there was not a man among all the people that answered him.”

1 Samuel 14:44.
“And Saul answered, God do so and more also: for thou shalt surely die, Jonathan.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the opening of this series, we explained that there is a force accompany your declaration. That is to say, what you uttered in ignorance or consciously, will surely come to pass, if not immediately, the future will tell or revealed it. Yesterday, Jacob ignorantly declared death judgement on Rachel and she died untimely.
Meanwhile, Saul on his own part make an executive order or proclamation that no one should eat not drink till evening. (1 Samuel 14:24) And Jonathan not aware of his father’s vow concerning food, tasted honey from the honeycomb. (1 Samuel 14:27)
However, Saul solemnly vow that, even if it Jonathan his son that eat anything, he must be put to death. And when he had that Jonathan ate honey, he further announce that he will die. Beloved, it is not the prayers of any good parents, that his or her child should die before them or with them. It is a calamity.
In conclusion, our memory verse, reveals the results of the wrong use of words by Saul. Unfortunately, three of his sons died with him in a day. What a tragedy? May you not ruin your future and that of your children in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will not use my words, to destroy the future of my family.

PRAYER POINT:
Dear Father, You are God of Peace and harmony. Please Lord, let Your peace reign in my life. And may I not use my words, to destroy my life and that of my children in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

Submit Yourself To God. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“…For God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.”
1 Peter 5:5-6.

TODAY’S TEXT:
James 4:6-7.
“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we explained what it takes to submit to God, what submission to God requires or failure to submit to God. For there Is blessings in yielding your power, will or opinion to God’s power, God’s will or opinion.
Meanwhile, the writer of James 4:6-7, talk of more grace or availability of adequate blessings to those who submitted to God’s instructions daily. Further information reveals that God resist the proud. Why? For the proud cannot be in submission, all because of pride.
More so, beloved in Christ, grace is made available for you and I, when we humble ourselves before God. When you submit to God, and live by his commandments, you are a resistance to the devil and after long struggle with failure, he will flee from you.
In conclusion, our memory verse, strictly encourage us to submit ourselves under the mighty hand of God, that God may exalt us in due time, for his own glory and our benefits. May God’s grace abound in your life in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will continue to resist the devil, for God’s hand is upon me to exalt me.

PRAYER POINT:
Father Lord, You give grace to the humble, to shame the proud. Help me Lord, to always submit to You in humility. May I not loose your grace over my head in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

THEME:
Submit Yourself To God. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7

TODAY’S TEXT:
Isaiah 45:9-10.
“Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands? Woe unto him that saith unto his father, What begettest thou? or to the woman, What hast thou brought forth?”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
To submit is to surrender, accept, yield or resign to the power, will or authority of another person. It is to leave or commit to discretion of judgement of another person. Beloved, God is the Creator of all, for as it will be disastrous for a clay to revolt against the potter, so much it shall be for a creation that kick against his Creator.
Meanwhile, our today’s text sounds a loud warning, which by implication declared that accursed is the one that submit not to his Maker, and one who revolts against his Creator will perish in no time. Therefore, submit yourself to God and be blessed.
Finally, to submit is to yield your power to God’s power and to give up resistance against his ordained instructions for your life. May you and I receive grace to submit to God’s will for our lives in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Through grace, I will not kick against my Maker. I will be submissive and blessed.

PRAYER POINT:
Father and the Creator of all, in You resides all power and glory. Help me Lord, not to disobey your instructions for my life and remove from me, every seed of rebellion in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
