    THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

    DATE:
    Friday, January 20, 2023.

    THEME:
    The Blessed.

    MEMORY VERSE:
“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
    Psalms 1:3.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    Psalms 1:1-2.
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
To be truly blessed is to know God, the scriptures say, *…but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.* (Daniel 11:32b) When you have God you have everything, it is only in God you have true and lasting blessings.

Beloved, do you desire to be blessed? Never come in agreement to the recommendation of the evil men and women, for many they had led astray unto perpetual destruction. Never forget to flee the appearance of evil and all that it has to offer. God has greater things in store for you.

Meanwhile, a blessed man or woman takes counsel from God or godly advice and follows God’s instructions always. Dear friend, do you daily check God’s guidelines for your day-to-day activities, doing this will make you wiser and draw you closer to your divine destination. This is very important.

In conclusion, a blessed man or woman is well-positioned by God, favored above all limitations, fruitful and prosperous in all His ways. Are you a man or a woman, Jesus is calling you today, for a life-changing experience, tomorrow may be too late. Shalom!

    To God’s glory alone.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain, in the power of Jesus’ love.
    *Jesus is coming very soon.*
    Be prepared.

    DAILY CONFESSION:
I belong to Jesus, I am blessed and well-favored in Christ Jesus

    PRAYER POINT:
Almighty God and Father of all Creations, I come to You today for a fresh fellowship, cleansing of my life, and renewal of my destination in destiny. In Your mercy, make me a blessed being and use me for Your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.

    Yours in Christ,

    THEME:
    The Mixed Multitude. II.

    MEMORY VERSE:
“And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.”
    Exodus 12:38.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    Nehemiah 13:3.
“Now it came to pass when they had heard the law, that they separated from Israel all the mixed multitude.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we emphasize the likely problems of having a mixed multitude amid God’s people, such as different upbringings, beliefs, cultures, reasoning, and agendas, that can mar our journey with God or destroy things that aid our growth and well-being, if not checked.

The Psalmist says, in Psalms 19:7, “The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.” This speaks of the transforming power of the word of God. The grace of newness of heart; the transformation of a sinner to a saint, and the believers’ fellowship with God. Which we present unto the mixed multitude unto salvation.

However, the mixed multitude that failed to accept and honour God’s words, are to be removed and separated from God’s people, to avoid contamination. Although they may keep growing, well-to-do, vibrant, and well-connected both in and out of the group, this does not make them perfect or accepted by God’s standard until they accept God’s law and are committed to honour it.

In conclusion, many times, we hope people will change for good, but some do after a while, while some never do but pretend to change. Beloved, check those relationships, friendships, or fellowships that mar your journey with God or are not the best for your life. You are important to God and your vision is your mission. Shalom!

    To God’s glory alone.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus’ love.
    *Jesus is coming very soon.*
    Be prepared.

    DAILY CONFESSION:
I will focus on God and trust in His daily provision. As I refuse to be ensnared with the false multitude.

    PRAYER POINT:
Almighty Father, thank You for Your love and grace. Give me, the grace to remain focused and trust in Your daily provision and help me Lord, not to be entangled with negativity in Jesus’ name. Amen.

    Yours in Christ,

    The Mixed Multitude. I.

    MEMORY VERSE:
“And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.”
    Exodus 12:38.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    Exodus 12:43-45.
“And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the Passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof: But every man’s servant that is bought for money, when thou hast circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof. A foreigner and a hired servant shall not eat thereof.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Life is precious and it is loaded with many wonderful things for our sake and enjoyment by the creator. But then, conditions attached to the receiving of all that God has to offer must be met. Do we always hear and follow God’s instruction for the journey ahead? Dear friend, don’t forget that obedience is better than sacrifice.

Meanwhile, obeying God is the key to a successful relationship with God. For when we journey with strangers to our belief, and who are not ready to learn, grow and be part of our God’s calling, careful we should be, it is disastrous to our growth and well-being if they journey with us in unbelief.

More so, our today’s text reminds us of the regulation regarding Passover, *”There shall no stranger eat thereof…A foreigner and hired servant shall not eat thereof.”* (Exodus 12:43-45) What God has for God’s people, must not be taken by unbelievers. For it is not to be eating in unbelief, and result in condemnation. (1 Corinthians 11:34)

In summary, our memory verse cites an example of the mixed multitude’s journey with the Israelites, either willingly or not, genuinely in faith or not, with hidden agenda or not, if not checked out, could sow discord and a fatal blow to the people. Therefore, a fraction that seemly insignificant today, can grow and become unsurmountable in a little time. Watch out for those you journey with. Shalom!

    To God’s glory alone.

    God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus’ love.
    *Jesus is coming very soon.*
    Be prepared.

    DAILY CONFESSION:
I shall not be slowed down. I remove that which slows down my journey with God.

    PRAYER POINT:
Almighty God and Father of all grace, with You alone, I journey in glory, grace, and power. Help me Lord, to be watchful and prayerful as I journey in life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

    Yours in Christ,

Entrusted With The Good News. IV.

    MEMORY VERSE:
“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ departs from iniquity.”
    2 Timothy 2:19.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    2 Timothy 2:15-16.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, was on knowing the good news is for everyone, especially those who are ready to listen, receive, keep and share it with others. Are you ready and willing to receive Jesus, the love of God and share Him with all men and women?
If yes, then, you must prepare yourself for what you are called to do. Therefore, to prepare for your assignment, you must never joke with daily fellowship with the Holy Ghost, holy living, prayers, fasting and meditatively study the Word of God.
The truth is that _”Preparation prevents poor performance.”_ The more reason the scripture says, *”Study to shew thyself approved unto God.”* How prepared are you? Do you daily prepare for the daily task of your calling through grace? Do you daily have fellowship with God’s Spirit, for assistance on direction and empowerment?
In summary, the Boys scouts motto says: “Be prepared.” Are you daily preparing? This is important if you want to be committed to what is entrusted to your care. Note, _”Let every one that nameth the name of Christ departs from iniquity.”_ Stay away from sin. Shalom!

    God bless you.
Till He returns or calls you home, do remain in the power of Jesus love.
    *Jesus is coming very soon.*
    Be prepared.

    DAILY CONFESSION:
By grace, I will daily prepare to carry out the assignment entrusted to my care.

    PRAYER POINT:
Father of all Grace, in Your mercy, grant me the grace to daily prepare for the tasks ahead of me. And may I not fail to perform my ordination before You in Jesus name. Amen.

    Yours in Christ,

    MEMORY VERSE:
“Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.”
    Philippians 3:8.

    TODAY’S TEXT:
    Revelation 14:13.
“And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.”

    TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we considered while you and I are entrusted with the good news; that’s the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For we are saved, to save others and we are healed, to heal others. We are made vessels of honour unto our God, burning for Christ glory and igniting others to burn for God.
Dear friend, indeed, after knowing why you are entrusted with the good news, it is important to know what to do with it and how to go about it. The question is, “who is the good news for? Is it for anyone special or everyone?
Nevertheless, the good news is simply available for all, but not all will be able to access it. Only those that are ready to listen, accept and keep it to the end, no matter the situation or circumstances of life they may encounter.
In summary, the Christian Good news is for everyone, man, woman, children, tongues, colours, status, class and all ages. Therefore, do your best to get it across to all that cross your path. May you receive grace in doing your part in Jesus name. Amen. Shalom!

    God bless you.

By grace, I will do my best to witness Christ Jesus, to all people that come my way.

    PRAYER POINT:
Almighty God and Father of all creations, You want us all to return to You and not perish. Help me, Lord not to joke with the good news and grant me the grace to do my best in disseminating the Good news to all people that come my way in Jesus name. Amen.
