THEME: EYE SERVICES.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.”
Ephesians 6:8.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Ephesians 6:6-7.
“Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Eye service is a service PERFORMED ONLY UNDER INSPECTION, OR THE EYE OF AN EMPLOYER. It connote the act of selfish activeness that seek the praise of an employer. It further revealed the acute level of laziness on the part of whoever that indulge in it.
Nevertheless, our today’s text warn us as christians, not to indulge in such negative attitude in our daily walk with God. Meanwhile our work in the God’s kingdom, must not be, to please men.
Rather, we must do our work in God’s kingdom willingly, by doing the will of God from our hearts. More so, we must perform our services with favourable attitude, as to the Lord, and not to men.
Conclusively, our memory verse says; “Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.” This reminds us of the promises and the blessings that await the diligent workers and the lazy workers. Beloved, whatever your position and your attitude to God’s work, do know that your just reward await you.

God bless you. Jesus is coming very soon. Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will work the work, while it is day.

PRAYER POINT:

THEME: HEARING INSTRUCTIONS?

MEMORY VERSE:
“Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.”
Proverbs 8:14.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Proverbs 8:32-34.
“Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
We often discuss with our peers such things like our achievements, vision, mission, plans, but rarely our fears, so as not to appear weak before our peers.
Meanwhile, age has little or nothing to do with wisdom or maturity. My granny used to say, “When an adult acts in such a way, that is questionable or against his or her supposed age intelligence, such fellow suffer from childish syndrome, no matter the age.”
Nevertheless, to get help, we must know that our our help comes from God. Today’s text revealed the mind of God and counsel for HIS children. It admonished us to, Listen and keep commandments, hear instructions and be wise. God affirms further, “And blessed is the man that hears me, watching daily at my gates, watching at the posts of my doors.
In conclusion, Job 28:28 inform us thus: “And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.” Therefore, hearing instructions from God, is act of reverence to God, and fleeing evil shows our understanding. May you be blessed with grace to always hear instructions from God in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. Jesus is coming very soon. Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Obedient is better than sacrifice.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, help me to keep to your instructions for my life. That I may enjoy blessings, available for the obedient children in Jesus name. Amen.

THEME: NO MORE PLUNDERERS

MEMORY VERSE:
“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.”
Malachi 3:11.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Judges 6:3-5.
“And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them; And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass. For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
To start with, who is a PLUNDERER and what does it mean to plunder? To plunder means to take by force, or to destroy goods or properties belonging to another fellow, for no just cause. And a plunderer is one that enjoy, encourage or indulge in this vices. Another question is, why are the people of covenant plundered? One of the answer is in Judges 6:1; “And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.” When we sin against God, we do in actual fact, turn our back to God, telling HIM that we are self sufficient.
Meanwhile, our today’s text revealed the kind of punishment that can come to one, after kicking against God’s instructions.
Furthermore, the only wise God says in Proverbs 8:36
“But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.” This indicates that, when a man sins against God, he is in love with death.
In conclusion, our memory verse present to us a goodnews, when we return back to God to do HIS will. God promise to put an end to plunders in our midst, more so, our land to yield her increase. As you and I repent of our sins, seek God’s face and determine to please HIM, may we be richly blessed in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. Jesus is coming very soon. Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
No more plunders or destroyer in my land.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, in your mercy put an end to plunders in my nation. That I may enjoy the Blessings therein in Jesus name. Amen.

THEME: EQUIPPED BUT NOT ACTIVE. IV.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.”
James 2:24.

TODAY’S TEXT:
James 2:19-22.
“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we observed that it is possible, a christian proclaim he or she believes in God through faith in Christ Jesus, but failed to actively exercise the gifts and grace therein.
Meanwhile, the opening of our text affirmed that, ” it a good thing to believe, but that we should not forget that Satan also believe and tremble before God. The scripture further says of Abraham’s faith been justified by his work, when he had offered Isaac to God in obedience to God’s command.
Furthermore, though he was at his old age, but as a sign of his firm believe in God’s ability, he gave him up. Beloved, your faith and work must married each other, before you can fully access your divine generational blessings.
Conclusively, our memory verse expressly stated that; “Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.” That is, faith is good, it is our believe in God. And it comes as a result of our knowledge of God. And God equipped us with faith, inorder to please HIM. (Hebrew 11: 6) But without putting it in action, we are merely equipped but not active or useful. May you receive grace to put your faith in action now and always in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. Jesus is coming very soon. Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
Faith without works, is dead.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, let my faith not be dead due to my inactions. Help me to put my faith to action, that I may work alongside with my faith for a greater rewards, in Jesus name. Amen

THEME: EQUIPPED BUT NOT ACTIVE. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”
John 14:12.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Matthew 12:25.
“And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
In the last part of this series, we considered the possibility of christian running to another christian; who he or she believed is more anointed to support or accompanied in order to settle a minor matter. The case of the sons of prophet, who had to call on Elisha to follow them to where they will cut down trees. Though, they were equipped with prophetic knowledge and skills, but they could not actively act in the anointing.
More so, aside fear of the unknown, another vice that makes Christians or Christianity dormant today is division. If division is in place, though we are equipped as christians, do know that we can’t activate the grace and power available in unity of purpose.
Furthermore, we will not be able to win more soul or conquer more land for Christ. For the scripture says in Ephesians 4:13, “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ.” Invariably, there is power in unity, unity harness our abilities together and bring about formidable results.
Finally, in our memory verse, our Lord Jesus Christ, assured us that, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do.” That’s a good news of a greater work. Meanwhile, in our today’s text, our lord Jesus Christ revealed that, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.” Although, the city is equipped and fortified, if there is disunity, it will surely fall, for lack of agreement. May you not be counted among the division in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. Jesus is coming very soon. Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
That they may be one.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, help the body of Christ; the church to be one in heart and purpose. That I and my brethren, may harness our abilities and potentials to spread your kingdom of light here on earth in Jesus name. Amen.
