THEME:
Discover To Recover.

MEMORY VERSE:
And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!”
Luke 15:17.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Luke 15:18, 22-24.
“I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
There is a popular saying that state that, “It is until when you lose something and you have a need for it, in it absence that you will really appreciate the value of what was lost. That is, you may not appreciate what you have, until when you don’t have it again. And it is when you discover that it is gone, you will have to make frantic effort to recover that which was lost.
Child of God, just like the younger son, who left the atmosphere of goodwill and godly counsel, for a selfish and corrupt environment. After a while, he knew no peace, no friends, no food, no shelter, he became a destitute and until he discovered that he could not be that hard in his father’s house, that he recover himself.
Beloved, as you consciously observe the situation around you, do know that better days lays ahead. And you will discovered that God is just starting with you, for He is God of second chance.
Finally, while not retrace your steps back to God, it will not be bad for you in Christ Jesus. Why not genuinely seek his face, for reconciliation today? And just like the loving father that He is, God will do much more than your expectations and you will recover all in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will receive mercy in the place of judgement. I will not loose my inheritance in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER POINT:
Faithful and loving father, in your mercy, as I call on You, show me Your mercy. And please Lord, help me to discover my lost ground and grant me grace, to recover all in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

Waiting For The Appointed Time. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”33
Habakkuk 2:3.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Job 14:14-15.
“If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
What is an appointed time? How do I wait for my appointed time? An appointed time is that set time, God has scheduled to visit your life specially. A time otherwise known as a Divine moment for total breakthrough and restoration. I believe every creature awaits this special moment in their lives, to say the fact, you do await it’s manifestation too?
Meanwhile, it is a different in heavenly and earthly time frame, that makes you and I to ponder, as we wait for this glorious season. Also, our need is often different from our want, it is not what we need, that we want or ask from God. Most times, we ask of our wants, instead of our needs.
However, while awaiting this splendid period of time, there is lot we can engage in, as we await our appointed time. You and I must ensure that, we know what we need and not our wants, also what to do, in order to get our needs realised.
Finally, our today’s text expressly declared the promise of God saying: “Thou shalt call, and I will answer thee: thou wilt have a desire to the work of thine hands.” May God speedily bring to pass, your appointed time in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will have the desire of my heart. My appointed time, will no longer be delayed.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, you are the all knowing God, give me the grace not to be weary in waiting for my appointed time in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

The Delayed Hope. III.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.”
Proverbs 13:12.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Mark 2:2-4.
“And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four. And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The belief or expectation that something wished for can or will happen is hope, but when it refused to manifest, one tend to be discourage. Many things can bring about delay in hope, it could be God’s timing, evil forces or human traffic.
However, it takes strong determination to make dream come true, or release one’s delayed hope from such hindrance. In our today’s text four friends practically determine to bypass the human traffic that serves as hindrance to their bosom friend’s healing.
More so, these men were not deterred by the consequence of what they determine to do. They were battle ready to gainsay anyone that kick against their action of removing the roof of another person building.
In conclusion, although human traffic delayed their friend’s hope of seeing Jesus, but with their rugged determination, they achieve their goal. What is that thing hindering your hope, go to God in prayer to show you, how to bypass the problem. May God enlighten your heart as you seek Him in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will not be weary. By God’s grace, I will see a way forward to my miracle.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, you are the only wise God. Please Lord, open the eyes of my understanding that I may see a way, where seems to be no way in Jesus name. Amen.

The Delayed Hope. II.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

DATE:
Monday February 24, 2020.

THEME:
The Delayed Hope. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim.”
Lamentations 5:17.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Daniel 10:12-13.
“Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
We open this series knowing full well that, *’Hope deferred makes the heart faint.’* And not forgetting the fact that time and season belong to God. With God when there is delay, it is a matter of time. And no time is like God’s time, for God’s time is the best time.
Nevertheless, Daniel in today’s text prayed and God answered his prayer that instant, but the results or answer to his prayers was delayed from getting to him by the evil force of his time. This is a pointer to the fact that, aside the principle of God’s time, the evil forces often cause delay, in order to prolong the negative experience of a believer.
However, a believer need to be consistent in righteousness, good works, and in prayers till the expectations become a reality. Beloved, hold on to God in that situation that seems to drown you and God will send help your way as you persist in calling Him.
Conclusively, our memory verse shed light on the likely experience, when there is a delayed hope. Saying: _”For this our heart is faint; for these things our eyes are dim.”_ Dear friend, as you continue to look unto God, for a way out of your dilemma, God will surely prove Himself in your situations in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will be persistent in the place of prayers, till my change come.

PRAYER POINT:
Father Lord, you never forget your own, even in their dark moment. Please Lord, help me to remain steadfast and persistent in prayer in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.
