THEME:
Love Not The World. II.

MEMORY VERSE:
“For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica…”
2 Timothy 4:10.

TODAY’S TEXT:
James 4:4.
“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we opened this series knowing full well that, “Loving the world, portends an enmity with God.” Therefore, what is loving the world? Simply put, it is giving in to the world impositions, that are against God’s demands. 1 John 2:16 caption it thus: *”For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”*
Then, let’s consider the points from the above text, one after the other, *”The lust of the flesh,”* It is to strongly desire extraordinary pleasure for the body, by given the flesh total freedom to act, as it pleases. While *”Lust of the eyes,* is to freely allow the eyes, to wander after all that passes, with the intention to acquire them all.
Furthermore, *”The pride of life.”* It is to exalt oneself, all because of life’s successes and achievements, forgetting the availability of difference in God’s grace. And through boasting and arrogance against the less privilege and God.
Finally, beloved in Christ Jesus, let’s not forget that, we are bought with a precious price. And we must not forget that, friendship with the world is an enmity with God, who paid the ultimate price of our redemption.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will not forsake my calling. I will not be an enemy of God.

PRAYER POINT:
Righteous Father, you are good to all and gracious in mercy. Oh Lord, may I not look back on my calling. Help me Lord, to focus on You and Your will for my life in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,

Love Not The World. I.

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST

THEME:
Love Not The World. I.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
1 John 2:15.

TODAY’S TEXT:
1 John 2:16-17.
“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
When we talked about _”Love not the world,”_ we are simply saying, don’t be entangled with what the world has to offer. Nowadays, people gets carried away with the things of the world. They were cunningly lured with those things, in order to distract them and to work against God’s will and purpose for their lives.
Meanwhile, Satan secretly use those thing we love so much, those things that takes our time and rapid attention, away from God and through those things, he gradually drags his victim away from the presence of God and God’s fellowship, into vices and banality.
Furthermore, let’s be cautious of our actions, so as not to fall victim any longer. For our memory verse, affirms it that, *”The love of the world, brings about an enmity with God.”* The love of the world, serves as the enemy’s baits. They are like the morning dew, it will soon pass away, it will not last.
Finally, today is not too late to check yourself. What is that thing you love so much? Hope it’s not taking your attention away from God? Check it out, and give God the honour due to Him, and you will abide forever with God.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I refuse to be a victim of Satan. I will be committed to God’s will.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, you are the only Wise and True God. Help me Lord, to love those things, you love and to hate those things you hate. That I may abide with you forever in eternity in Jesus name. Amen.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

Acts 6:8.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Galatians 3:5-6.
“He therefore that ministereth to you the Spirit, and worketh miracles among you, doeth he it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we discussed the relationship between faith and miracles, which is bringing our faith to work or working with or according to our faith. For *”Faith without work is dead.”* ( James 2:17).

However, it is important to note, that to minister in spirit, or perform signs and wonders, we must exercise firm faith in God. Knowledge cannot, neither can the law, bring to pass that which should be done through your faith.
Furthermore, Abraham believed God and God fulfilled His promises to him and bless his generations. Stephen was also full of power for wonders and miracles through solid faith in the Lord God.
In conclusion, beloved in Christ Jesus, you too can be full of power for signs, wonders and miracles through faith in God. Come to God today, believing in His power to save and to deliver. And you will surely and forever be happy you did.

Yours in Christ,
B. J. Folorunsho.

And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Yesterday, we considered faith as a firm believe or trust in God. Also as a key, to unlock our miracle, or our uncommon virtue for a divine intervention. Faith is an attitude that pleases God and it brings pleasure to God’s heart, through which fortunate outcome prevailed, despite overwhelming odd against it for man’s blessings by God.
More so, miracle is a wonderful event that occurred in the physical world attributed to supernatural powers, which is made possible through strong belief in God. Exclusively, our today’s text reveal the faith of a sick man and his friends, they fought against all odds and did the unimaginable thing, in order to get to Jesus’s feet.
Eventually, their actions of faith paid off. Let’s not forget that, faith without work is dead. (James 2:17) Beloved, kindly put your faith to work and your miracles, will spring forth like a rushing water. May you received grace to put your faith to work in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
Till He returns or call you home, do remain in the power of His love.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I will put my faith to work, for my testimony to abound.

Father Lord, faith without work is dead. Help me Lord, to put my faith to work, that my testimony may abound in Jesus name. Amen.
