THEME: Nations Shall Come To Your Light.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”
Isaiah 60:1.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Isaiah 60:2-3.
“For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
Light is one of the most important features of creation, to bring out the beauty of God’s magnificent work. The main reason, why in Genesis 1:3, the Bible record thus: “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” For darkness had covered the universe, it serves as a covering, hidden away the imbedded glory of the land.
However, whenever there is light, darkness cannot abide, for light will illuminate the hidden beauty and glory, hidden away. In the same vein, Christianity beautify the world through it’s teachings, people and deeds.
Meanwhile, the scripture says in Matthew 5:14,
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Beloved, you are a light, that the nations of the world awaits to shine, in order to retrace their steps back to God. Oh yes! Just like the shining Star that led the three wise men to the manger, where baby Jesus was laid. (Matthew 2:9)
Finally, Matthew 5:15 reveals that,
“Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.” Invariably, for nations of the world to come to your light, it must be burning, effective and attractive. Your lifestyle must reflect the nature of Christ; the risen Lord. And that through you, they can get to know Jesus and be like Jesus in words, deeds and action. May your light continue to shine brightly, anywhere you go in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
My light will shine. And Nations of the world, will come to the full knowledge of Jesus through me.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, shine your light upon my life. And let my light, so shine that nations of the world, may come to you through my shining in Jesus name. Amen.

MEMORY VERSE:
“Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.”
Psalms 25:3.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Psalms 25:1-2.
“Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
There was a virtuous man, whose community trusted with their lives and great valued assets. This man was kin to their security and progress, and his people loved him for his numerous sacrifices for the community.
However, a powerful man from Neighbor community decided to challenge him to a battle, seeing that things are changing for better concerning the virtuous man.
Although, the virtuous man was not as rich or powerful as the wicked wealthy man, however, while the powerful man was busy putting together his arsenal of war, the virtuous man went to God for intervention. Such was the scenery from 2kings chapter 18:20 to 19:20. When King Hezekiah was confronted with great Sennacherib king of Assyria, he ran to the Lord for help and God did help him. The Lord will help you too.
In conclusion, beloved in Christ, when you are faced with any challenge, don’t hesitate to go to God for help. He is ever ready, to help you out of your predicament. May you receive grace to always go to God for help and keep to divine counsel in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you. *Jesus is coming very soon.* Be prepared.

Who got your back?

THE NARROW WAY DAILY DIGEST.

DATE: Thursday, July 11, 2019.

THEME: Who Got Your Back?

MEMORY VERSE:
“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
Psalms 27:1.

TODAY’S TEXT:
Psalms 27:2-3. “When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.”

TODAY’S MESSAGE:
The life of a Christian, is a unique and special one. It is a life, full of surprises, joy, pain, mystery and splendour. Come to think of it, how the might Goliath was mesmerized by little David, one will wonder why a war general like Goliath could be defeated by a first timer in such a decisive and crucial war. However, the answer is not far fetched, they both got their results based on their personal backing or strength. On one hand, Goliath rely on his many years of war tactics, and on the other hand, David rest on the infinity power of the Most High God, that he had enjoyed severally.
Meanwhile, in our today’s text, the psalmist boast of his strength saying: *”When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear.”* The reason for his declaration, is all because of Divine assurance, that God got his back and that all will be well.
Conclusively, our memory verse, reminds us as Christians saying: _”The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”_ Beloved in Christ, when you are on God’s side, God got your back and He will be your strength. Surrender to Him in totality and you shall be like mount Zion ever strong. May you not move out of God’s coverage over your life in Jesus name. Amen.

God bless you.
*Jesus is coming very soon.*
Be prepared.

DAILY CONFESSION:
I am not perturbed or distressed, for God got my back.

PRAYER POINT:
Father, in your mercy, help me to remain faithful to you and may I not depart from your coverage over my life in Jesus name. Amen.
